when i visit japan, i will definitely try to get near one of these things, sadly only three still work, one second generation and two first generations, all of them are on the 60HZ side of japan tho, so finding recordings of the 50HZ version of these sirens is extremely hard, i have heard one or two thanks to old recordings and they sound even better than these, sadly these are either long gone or do not work, i hope some of the places that have these and havent removed them yet bring them back to life.

very interesting sirens. The work siren sound like THE ASC CYCLONE AND THE MUSIC SIREN SOUNDS LIKE a MASS ROWE CARILLION.

what is the maintenance like is it easy to repair? What will the building be used for in 2025? What would have been the cost of owning one especially the 2ND GENERATION MODEL? That was very smart to put it in an enclosure like that for weather protection.

@@FEDERALSIGNALTECH Apparently the second generation was available for purchase starting at 10 million yen at the time, but is currently unavailable.

How much was the second generation in US DOLLARS and I know that they are no longer available for purchase but I was wondering if I could get one to restore one and use it with a MASS-ROWE bellwether DCB4 carrolion controller.

@@FEDERALSIGNALTECH I don't know how much the second generation was worth in US dollars. I don't think you can buy one used or anything like that these days... but if you can, I hope you can restore it.

@@チョコ-v7i5b I hope to get one to restore and have it play hymns and soundtracks.
