Treating them like an animal in other words. How are they going to learn to be independent? My child went to playgroup alone by age 2 and it will be an 8 hour till I pick him up
I am saddened to see that the gifted child was traumatized. I am not sure about HK. In Malaysia, many therapists insists a parent to be with the child during therapy so that the parent can practise with the child at home.

Exactly, I believe this child is a gifted child. The parents are so silly by sending her to training centre. In fact the best teachers are the parents.

It might be the child has ADHD

As parents, we cannot force or pressured the small child to learn at a very young age. The teacher is paid to teach the child and probably she need to prove she is effective .

It’s not that easy if the kids have special needs….

父母自己都需要上好多班才能教導自己有Special need的小朋友,不是說想教便教到的。

Special need child would need a professional therapist to help. Are you suggesting the parents should go back to school and get certified as a special Ed teacher?
The parents have some fault too... they cannot expect their daughter to excel at such young age. As parents, we should encourage and not force our children as children need to have a balance - study and play time.

U should understand placing a child under any early intervention program the educator will be susceptible to put the child through different assessments. If it u r not satisfied with the service you can elect to stop the service. My child went through early intervention programs and regardless what the educator did I had no big complaint. U have to understand the child has a problem behaviour not the educator. For the educator to ring the police, the parent must have made a verbal threat.
ABA??! This is more like temper tantrums of the adults who weren't able to get things done, or couldn't get what they want. To help a child to follow your instructions, there are many ways to deliver your instructions according to the different comprehensive levels of the children, such as demonstration/modeling, and physical/ gestural/verbal prompts, etc.. When the child has issues with attention span, why the teacher kept talking and talking asking the kid to do this and do that in a whole chunk of instructions? To help a child to accomplish a complicated task, consider breaking down the task into small steps, give instructions to accomplish each step, and then combine the small steps according to the child's accomplishment. Also, positive reinforcement works better than punishment. IMHO those teachers are not qualified at all, and their licenses/ certificates need to be revoked. They don't even have the common sense of how to deal with youngsters. They do not have the hearts working in a field that requires love and care. Their behaviors on the video indicated child abuse that warrant intervention by the government authority. If they keep working in this field, they are the ones who will endanger the society. Likewise to the owner of the center. I'm saddened, and my heart goes out to the child's parents. Love helps to heal.

Also the instructor and the parents should learn about child development. If they know it, they won’t expect a 2-3 year old to behave like an older kid.
