I always wonder what Sophia sees in the mirror when she looks at herself. I wonder if she’s critical of her looks or if she frets about her appearance. When I look at her I see sunbeams shining out of her face. I’m not being facetious. I feel like I can honestly see the kindness just pouring out of her and how lucky the people are in her life. To experience her kindness in real life must be like basking in sunshine. I hope my kids think I’m kind too. I guess what I’m trying to say is that you motivate me to be a kinder version of myself.

When my Mother died, it was decided that I would have her Blue Willow dinner set. Problem was she lived in Australia and I lived in New Zealand. Every trip my sister (in Australia) and I made between the countries included as much of the dinnerset as we would manage to fit in our luggage! Several years later I was in possession of the entire set. Lol. The only piece I broke was the sugar bowl, much to my distress. The set was in display on a hutch until I had to shift and couldn't bring the hutch with me. I decided I would use the set as my everyday china. Funnily enough, not a single dish has got broken since then! I feel honoured to have it.

Happy Mother's Day Sophia! I never could get bored of you talking about your beautiful things. The Asian items on the lower shelf is gorgeous! I love them. And to think it took so many years to get those pieces, simply wonderful...no wonder you were happy you had to do this task, it's almost like a little gift, I love that.

Thank you Sophia. This was such a calming video to watch at the end of a long day. It was so refreshing to relax into something “normal” in these extraordinary times. I, like many others, love listening to you “chatter” about your life and home. Thank you for letting us into your life. I’m very grateful.

I wanted to share that the other day i cleaned up my pump organ and thought of you. It has so many nooks and crannies and therefore I do not often deep clean it. It took 3 hours with dusting, relocating and reorganizing the items on the organ. But how much joy I felt doing it. I got this pump organ from my grandmother's house with whom I share a name and a birthday. Happy mother's day.

Thanks for the tour. I love looking at antiques and hearing family stories. My most treasured piece is a shot glass in that old merlot colored glass from the 1910 Cincinnati Fair with my grandmothers name written on it. I need to revamp and declutter my curios too and get some of those treasured items displayed. My Mom had a nice collection of porcelain dogs that I also want to put on a shelf.

The ancestors from both families are lucky that someone who so loves the history and beauty behind each object, has taken ownership and assumed care of these beloved pieces. And one day one of your descendants will tell the story of your own personal favorites. What a wonderful history and family oriented, beautiful china cabinet you have created to pass onto your family. I love that kind of history.

You are so happy talking about your collections & heirloom history. Thank you for sharing & telling us about the curio and how to put it together. My mother was a WW2 polish refugee so they didn't have much heirlooms during the war. We look forward to the next curio doc. Hopd you had good Mother's day with your family.

Thank you Sofia you have inspired me to tackle my curio cabinet! I love your beautiful Waterford flutes. I have inherited my Mum’s dinner set which she received as a wedding gift in 1954. It didn’t have a sugar bowl but after searching for over 5 years I found it on Etsy in England. Just like you my heart jumped and I was so excited to have found it. I just wish Mum was around to see it. Happy Mother’s Day!

What a beautiful way to start my day! I collect and have a fondness for old china and crystal and am fortunate to have my mom’s 1950s dinner set my brother brought home from the Korean war. Watching you handle your treasures so lovingly with the soft pretty music in the background is a bonus! And the chimes from your clock add just the right amount of “hominess” to complete the experience. I will watch this one over and over when I feel stressed. Thank you and Happy Mother’s Day even though it is July when I am watching this.

I loved this video. I’m very sentimental like you . It’s all a treasure. I only have a couple pieces of the Rose China my Mother gave me. I hope we can get to some garage sales. I hope you do more like this. I can’t believe someone tossed that vase! Gorgeous. I love the Nippon China. What’s wrong w people!! Good nite.

You definitely look happier when you are working with your treasures! You make me super nervous moving them about, however! I cringe constantly as you move things around. LOL. I love your chatting so much. It makes me happy when you pronounce things in French. I would pay money to hear you read a children's book or two in French! My favorite piece is the wedding basket. I collect cobalt blue glass pieces (all kinds) and that one speaks to me! Hugs and kisses to you, Sophia! 💗

First of all you’re not ridiculous, everyone has sth that keep touching his/her heart no matter others opinions will be, and I’m one that can tell how you and your house are improving from one year to another, I love you as you was and as you now, and feel very happy when you do long videos and chitchat with us, yes chitchatting in my opinion is better than lots of music, because of many reasons one of them the listener will feel that you’re their friend/ family member or someone who cares, but the music we can hear it in anywhere, chitchatting let me feel that there’s someone who’s with me when I’m doing tasks or when I’m preparing for one.... you’re so nice to give us your precious time when you record or edit and share with us... I’m one of those subscribers who will enjoy whatever you do ..... and about helping kids to learn how to be good at anything not only in organizing “previous videos “ I’m totally with you... you such a great mom ... having happy Mother’s Day ..... please take care of yourself and your family.... stay safe, positive, active and happy 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

Thank you Sophia! This was a joy to watch. You have such lovely pieces. I picked up a hint from a book written by a retired housekeeper who worked at Buckingham Palace. When dusting pieces such as your birds which have nooks and crannies use a one inch or more clean paint brush.I do it all the time and it works like a charm. I think my favorite piece is the Empire vase.It reminds me somewhat of Napoleon's Tomb. Go figure that one!!

I have a very similar curio cabinet also made by Pulaski but it has glass doors that open on both sides on the top and bottom. It’s so difficult to take out the curios, figurines, etc. to clean or move around. It’s mostly full of Disney figurines that my husband and I have been collecting for approx. 25 years. Yours seems so much easier to clean. I’m so happy to see you getting so much joy from cleaning and rearranging your collection.😊
