D.O. 디오 'Expectation' Highlight Medley (Redemption Reacts)

The album is so good, way beyond what we hear initially in the Highlights Medley, which is already stunning on first listen. D.O. doing things vocally and emotionally unlike anything we hear from him in Exo. I thought I knew his voice so well, but he just keeps showing more sides and colors to his performances. So so so good. Appreciate your insights especially the ear worms and the differences in cadence and bpm, yes exactly right… “i really felt that him and shortie are together” hahahaha yes, he is an excellent actor as well… PS D.O. Established his own company alongside his longtime former SM manager. Called Company SooSoo. He will do all his solo activities under his own company, but will still do Exo activities with SM (Same as Baekhyun who established I&B100 and also signed on Chen and Xiumin as solo artists). D.O. announced he will release his 3rd solo album in April/ May and we are all excited to hear what he does on his own outside of SM. For more content please do D.O. on Lee Mujin, he sings some english songs and various other Korean songs on top of Somebody. Flawless and heartfelt vocals

This was one of my top 3 albums from 2023. Lost is, without a doubt, my favorite song of the album. If I am not mistaken, the person who directed this highlight medley and the title track is a well known movie director from Korea, as D.O. is also an actor, he has contacts, but the big thing is that SM agreed with it. It was an amazing last album to release under SM label

I'm so excited for his next album which will be released in April/May this year. D.O. is considered a real actor by Korean critics. You should watch his dramas/movies. Also so many solo albums by EXO this year: Lay, Suho, Baekhyun, D.O. and Chanyeol. Also EXO-CBX will be having an album/comeback this year. Also D.O. hinted of a new drama he will be shooting this year where he is the villain.

I’m loving all the EXO releases in 2023 and upcoming in 2024, it’s so exciting. I just wished we had gotten another winter album from them.
