To be honest, I couldn't comment before putting at the top how much I love Ordinary days. It gave me multiple feelings that are very different, like it gave me nostalgia, a sense of believing, and even heartbreak, which is odd because I have never been in a relationship. This song made me so sad yet. I missed something. I didn't know what it was. I respect D.O. for conveying this much emotion into his singing, it's phenomenal. So my favorites were, Ordinary Days The view Lost Somebody and the list goes down ❤

How the tracks are sequenced is genius. The whole album is cohesive and takes you on a journey, but each track can stand alone as well. I first listened to this album while walking outdoors on a cloudy afternoon, and it gave me this feeling of floating, weightlessness, but also sadness and longing going from Ordinary Days, The View, and finally Lost acoustic. The highlight medley snippets really didn’t do it justice. Each song is actually so dynamic not so much in the arrangement, but because of thr variety of sounds and styles and emotions that D.O.’s voice is capable of. Kyungsoo is amazing. Cannot wait for his next solo now that it will be under his own company!!! They just announced it today that it is confirmed for April/May 2024! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

5:40 have you watched kyungsoo on Lee Mu Jin service? He said that he choose melody over lyrics..so i think thats why he keep forgoting lyrics when he sing. but now he change his perspecrive and from now on give attention to the lyrics too. He want the listener could connect to the song and made the soul of the listener healthier (our health minister indeed 😅) and i love that.. he succeeded My fave are : 1. Ordinary days 2 somebody + lost accoustic version 3 i do + the view 4. Lost + Wonder But general public in korea really fall for I Do.. coz I Do never left the chart (melon) since its released ❤

Kyungsoo is perfect... Expectation is great... it is a narrative, a love narrative, see the sequence: Somebody (he wants to find someone special), Wonder (he finds it and feels amazed), I Do (he thinks of this person as "THE" person for life) , Lost (the breakup... he still tries to keep the person and is lost without knowing what to do), Ordinary Days (the tiredness and confirmation that everything is gone); The View (the longing, the certainty that even though it ended, it was worth it, the gratitude, the hope for the new)... it's a great work, Kyungsoo's voice just makes everything even better... he and his projects talking to people about emotions and feelings and how everything has value... in Empathy, his first album, this objective was also fulfilled, when he talks about different types of love and different phases and situations in life... these albums create an immense closeness with us... just listen to them, pay attention to the lyrics and the stories they tell (he spoke about this on Lee Mujin's program, about how lyrics have become very important in his repertoire, and on how this is ahead of your goal when singing to people)... I think he's talking about two different people. He was happy guy once and met someone (Wonder), as time passed that relationship withered (Lost), he was in denial and going down the memory lane both mentally and physically (Ordinary Day) and then finally he accepted the reality and makes peace with it (The View). Fast forward in time he's lonely and longs for the same type of love but is willing to make it extra work this time (Somebody). Now I think "I do" leaves either after "Somebody" or after "Wonder".

Thank you for this reaction, I’m watching a second time. I love his voice… so much! I definitely see the contrast, the differences in the ‘expectations’ . Everytime I think I have a favorite, then I’m not sure. I’m drawn to Ordinary Day I think because it’s so soothing to me with his vocals. But then the upbeat Somebody and I Do are favorites. His vocals in The View are exceptional but it is short and a bit repetitive but very good. Lost is a Favorite but I also love the acoustic version. He just has a vibe and I love it ❤

My favorite was Lost - Acoustic Version. It hit harder for me than the full band version. Especially the sigh part. Even his sigh has emotion in it. Crazy!

Yay my comfort album 🥰 No skip but I agree the View is my least fav. My favs are Somebody, Lost Acoustic version, and Ordinary Days. I Do also really grew on my bc of the live performances.

Effortless, With his diversity, I wouldn’t be surprised with anything he put out on his next album. His English covers this comeback blew everyone away.. he could really do anything and it would be exceptional. 1- Somebody / Ordinary Day 2- Lost 3- I Do 4- The View 5- Wonder
