Fairly elaborate chassis. A lotus elise style cleaner chassis might be interesting.

Hey i don't know if you going to read this because the video is almost 4 years old. But thank you very much very interesting to see you design your own car! Hope you'll continues this!

You can get an increase in camber through travel if your a-arms aren't parallel. Ours look parallel but are a good few degrees different (in the right way). The suspension will be so stiff that there will be little travel anyway so running a few degrees of negative camber as standard will be fine (as its only a track car now). Cheers

Thanks for the show. I think the GT40 are allowed because they are special foam?-filled like F1 cars to prevent an explosion.

That's really cool - I'm thinking of building a single seater electric racer using a similar type of chassis. How did you arrive at the front suspension geometry? I notice you're using parallel links rather than unequal length (shorter top arms). That means you'll get no camber gain in roll which could affect your handling adversely... Might be OK - I'm just working through these issues myself, so just wondered.

so did you take in mind the SAI steering axis inclanation ? why didnt you just put air bags on all four corners and just rais the rear end to level ?

What diameter and thickness of tubes did you use? I'm looking at doing something similar but using a 750cc bike engine.

@GRAHAMAUS: Ahh! A suspension guru! How's your Ackerman angles today? Near 55/45 on your weight bias? CVT anyone? Who says sharp corners aren't sexy? Cheers from Texas!

Nice job but why don´t grip the front suspension arms on silent blocks? your sistem won´t work, i think.

wouldn't it have been easier to just raise the rear suspension to the desired angle?

Constructive comment: front ball joint threads aren't thru enough.nylocks need to be used effectively.

I think there is a mistake .. those heads on the hub will give you big problems especially for adjusting the camber , you placed the wheel hub on two heads that closely resemble those Fiat . I'm sorry if I'm allowed to write but I did similar work and at the end it was not the right way ..

Sounds nothing like him. This guy is from the north of england and has a very similar accent to myself. James may is from the south with a more neutral accent.Imagine me saying Woody Harrelson sounded like Mark Wahlberg and it will give you some idea of the difference.
