In this video, I've discussed the importance of tyres for bikes as well as how synthetic rubber is used in tyre production. Tested the CEAT Zoom Rad(Radial) tyres for the Yamaha FZ and was really impressed! with it's wide shoulder groves and tread pattern I felt it was the best experience riding the bike in rain, wet road conditions with full confidence as the tyres never once slid even while taking corners on a wet road! very good tyres very good cornering grip very grippy on wet roads tested on fzv3 while riding through western ghats,, way better than mrf which i installed after ceat but in mrf there was rear tyre slides in wet conditions and not confident like ceat and mrf tyre developed defect within 15k kms and so again i changed back to ceat very good tyre highy recommend and front tyre doesnt lock easily in wet condition abs doesnt activate easily with this tyre. very good

I have fzs v3 with ceat tyres. Have done 6000km without a puncture and very good traction over corners. Mrf is harder and gives higher life. Ceat rubber is softer, so better grip and hence worns out soon.

Ceat has copied the tread and groove pattern from MRF zapper series. Nothing surprising in the ceat zoom rad tyres. Ceat uses hard compound in their tyres which gives more life and less grip. If you want something different you should go for Apollo Alpha series which comes with zero degree steel belted radial and makes your ride more confident. Apollo uses multi compound in the Alpha series tyres Or There is another choice MRF that is MASSETER. This tyre is specially designed for cornering and high speed riders. This tyre comes with radial construction. Only Apollo uses steel belted radial technology in bike tyres but now tvs has started making one. But mrf and ceat uses nylon radial technology which is inferior than Apollo. People talk about mechlin tyres but some of Michelin tyres are made from hard rubber which results in skidding on wet roads. DV reviews are baised and he get paid for it so he advertising them. But other than the tyres what he says is useful one. He gives some good technical info of the tyres.
