Our beloved Sharan Daju, a traditional Gaine/Gandharva artist and sarangi player from Darjeeling sits in the cold December morning to respectfully carry on his work of entertaining the passers by on the mall road. This is his everyday bread and butter. We have known each other for the past many years and I feel honored to join him for a brief while every time we meet. Let there be songs to fill the air.
