That knee injury changed history….Rose use to drag Steph Kyrie Dame everyone and Lebrun doesn’t run the East for all those years. Rose was why Lebrun left Cleveland the first time

Depends on if we give Rose some fkin help 😭😭 our #2 for Derrick was Carlos Boozer. I don’t rlly understand why ppl thought it was impressive the Heat beat the Bulls in 2011, it was literally Rose vs. Bron + Wade

@@jaboy8603 Miami’s roster was more than them 2…Rose only needed a little help a la MJ. If Jimmy developed the same by 2014 the Bulls would’ve been skating golden state

@@redhotmamakennels7738 Oh yea I forgot about Bosh 🤣 also they had pretty good role players like Chalmers, Mike Miller, Birdman, Shane Battier. Rose’s Bulls had a deep bench, that wasn’t a problem. He just needed a solid #2 and didn’t get it. That’s why I think Miami beating Chicago in 2011 4-1 wasn’t all that impressive. Even with Game 1, we knew Miami had the personnel to contain Rose and Chicago, it was just that will they actually ADJUST. Spolestra being the good coach he is solved that problem quickly and put Bron on Rose and the rest is history, because Rose had no one else next to him that was a dynamic scoring threat. I know Melo isn’t rlly respected nowadays but he would have complimented D Rose very well

@@jaboy8603 Bron didn’t guard rose head up..they used a trap on rose..Lebron can’t stay in front of rose that’s the biggest bull💩 story about Lebron career. He can’t guard all 5, never could. Lebron isn’t top 10 to me I’ve watched played hoop for almost 40 years.

Ki & JDOT, D. ROSE WAS AN EXPLOSIVE SMALL GUARD THAT PLAYED BIG! CHECKOUT HIS BIO: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derrick_Rose

Before Derrick Rose was injured, he was an absolutely explosive point guard that was virtually unstoppable. He had a killer instinct and was a warrior. He was just a dog. "No one wanted the smoke from D-Rose." -Matt Barnes "D-Rose will give you problems, man. He will keep you on your heels the entire game." -Rajan Rondo

WHAT YOU GUYS DIDN'T NOTICE WAS THAT @1:29 WHEN ROSE WENT UP FOR THE JAM, DURANT AND WESTBROOK MOVED OUT THE WAY AND JUST LOOKED AT EACH OTHER LIKE "DON'T LOOK AT ME"

DRose played with reckless abandon and unfortunately it caught up with him. His injuries make him one of the biggest what if stories in NBA history.

Rose was so good that players used to fake sick when they had to match up with him, they called it "The Rose Flu" and as good as Kyrie, Steph, Rondo, Lillard, and Wall were, not one of them could compete with Prime Rose, and they will tell you that! Rajon Rondo said the only player that gave him stress was Derrick Rose!! Rose used to cook Kyrie!

Players who we were robbed of because of injury D Rose, T Mac, Penny, Hill, B Roy are the biggest what ifs for me
@ernestb44732 жыл бұрын
True. D-Rose was the best point guard. He used to give Kyrie, Steph, Westbrick, CP3 the business just about every single time he met up with them. T-Mac had a slightly different style, but was as good as Kobe Bean Bryant.

I'd add Bernard King, Kevin Johnson, Bill Walton and Pete Maravich(although I didn't watch them play), Mark Price, Brad Daugherty, Stoudemire, Yao Ming, Brandon Roy, Fat Lever, Webber, Larry Johnson, Manning, Mashburn, Arenas, Jermaine O'neal and Ralph Sampson to that list. It can be a lot more extense, mainly if we add guys who passed away too soon(Len Bias, Reggie Lewis and Petrovic come to mind). Imagine how more competitive it would have been with these guys healthy and playing.

Youngest league mvp ever! Dude was doing all this at ages 20-22. If it wasn’t for the knee injuries they’d be talking about Lebron and Derrick back and forth. Derrick use to fucking kill curry, kyrie, Russell, same, ALL OF THEM! Lebron was the only one that was better and rose was literally right there with bron.
