I see the playability of Megan, Saweetie, etc... but there are some artists that are timeless. That's what happens when u rap about some real shit. D Smoke, Kendrick (of course), etc... they're the type of artists that rap about topics that will still be valid and relevant 10-20 years from not. Also he should be gettin more spins and be allowed to showcase his come up story of goin from livin in the hood to makin it to college and earning his B.A. and the becoming a teacher. Especially Cali, NY, and FL (which is where I live). It would be amazing to hear his bilingual tracks in rotation. I love this man!

I have just finished Fedrick Douglass' Story in college, and right after seeing this music video, it's so inspiring and so beautiful. I genuinely believe that black culture is getting out of context by the media. It is great to see an artist like D Smoke to express Black history by showing historical concepts. Unfortunately, we don't see this in our children's school. For him, express it this way can make such a significant impact on our youth.

The message is never minuscule from D Smoke; his music invokes feelings & memories...Seeing the purchase at the end is so real...Many subdivisions in GA have “plantation” in the name...Makes me always think of what was there before....

Well let me be clear cuz first of all I wasn't on here now I am on here I have nothing against white people if they don't like me I don't give a f*** a lot of greatness come from sacrificing..... our ancestors Jesus Christ a lot of greatness come from that as the world grows and the world open up their eyes we have all types of people siding with us and for you to sit there and come underneath this man or woman comment just to say whatever laughing my ass off I wasn't coming at you I was just trying to tell you to calm down because at the end of the day if he choose not to understand or any white person choose not to understand what our ancestors been through or our people been through at the end of the day we cannot judge them only one man could judge them and that is God I guess y'all Malcolm X and I'm the Martin Luther King I just don't go around attacking people I just appreciate those who have that respect for our people and the people side with us we don't need enemies you're so busy worrying about color thats not even the real f****** problem.... the government that's where we started at the people that leaves this country it kills me that we attack people that as we are the sea the same s*** we see but we won't attack or stand up to the real people that's keeping this s*** going I don't give a f*** if y'all think I'm wrong but wrong is wrong and right is right they was just showing appreciation and you show ignorance yeah you black but what the f*** that means when you're going around attacking and bullying just because white people do it that don't make us better to do it back but I'll let you have this one baby girl it's no problem because I am the result a peacefulness me and my black family & black children you might want to learn how that use your work kindly and gentle because being aggressive it's only going to pick us in the same spot we going to keep following the same f****** Circle with the same result I'm just not willing to keep the same thing everybody else doing and where is it getting us nowhere but more angry I appreciate with my ancestors went through I appreciate Jesus Christ died for me but one thing I will not do is hold I want to anger an ignorance because of what the white man did me and Marsha move forward and build and open eyes there's a difference between open eyes antagonizing people and surely that came on here defending her it was no need I was just telling baby girl to calm down I thought she was angry because of which she texted or at least didn't like what he wrote I just feel it was unnecessary in some cases it is necessary but in this case it wasn't he just show appreciation and what's wrong with that but I'ma leave it at that oh yeah just to let you know black people have betrayed me and f****** over and did the most grimey s*** to me but I still love them just like I learned how to accept and love white people all cultures just like White ppl just like White people could be racist so can black people don't make yourself look like that on social media y'all both don't look well wearing it lol but that's all I have to say about this one I'm not going to carry you on with y'all two because of how you see the world I'm just blessed that I was able to open up my eyes and hopefully be a good example for my children so in their future they know how to be at peace they won't go around with being unhappy in some era of their life like their past my children will understand with their ancestors went through everything happen for a reason baby girls and holding on to something that we cannot change ankle make nothing better we can only move forward so we may make our future better but y'all got this one it took two of y'all I guess but y'all be blessed into the gentleman that wrote this comment I do thank you for your appreciation and please continue a educating yourself sir or ma'am I'm not mix I'm straight-up black and proud!!!! 💯💪🏿💪🏾✊🏿✊🏾

@@lovelee1772 now I'm curious why you think I was defending him I was just mending ends so underneath this comment it wouldn't be a lot of ignorance and racism I was coming to the situation peacefully but now I have a question why do you feel but I was defending him I was appreciating what he was saying and sometimes I'll people come out of pocket so one of us need to learn how to step up and be like chill calm down but I guess you came over here to be the hype that was not necessary if I'm correct I'm only reading and I take it how you write it if y'all wrong you're fucking wrong accept it...... So embarrassing y'all could be fighting and arguing with the government system about giving Public Schools better education or better food but instead y'all want to get on this man for showing appreciation and if you wasn't coming at him some type of way why did you get offended when I spoke up stop wasting your time holding onto anger bet your parents or your grandparents been living that lives off of trust and believe they have woken up a lot of people now it's time for us to show the love and respect to all but for some reason that's hard for some blacks not all y'all two ladies are so funny..... but peace love and blessings later LOL

And just to clarify what I'm texting it's not all white people just to makes you are stating that my husband been beaten by cops they wasn't White it was Black cops but ain't nobody made a movement for that s*** and just because someone got shot and killed for jogging and those ignorant white people did what they did that still don't mean to attack every white person they are not the white people that killed that man it was the other two white people did it and yes it hurts to hear that he got killed by two white people but that don't means that we go around tagging every white person or label them as if they are a racist when they're maybe not
