I have to say I was rooting for him since the beginning, he's an artist all around, but he also played his cards right with the judges! He was gangster enough for TI, he used the Spanish to win Cardi over and he used this last performance to touch Chance's christian part, so he is an awesome artist and a smart dude! It’s a great point, though there was only one time where I thought he was making an intentional play. During the verse while he’s playing piano, he states “this one’s for (E)Inglewood, both in Chicago and Cali” (spelled differently but still homophones), which referenced his hometown and a neighborhood right next door to where Chance grew up.
