Highly urbanized City+awesome beaches and historial sites+culture and heritage are still intact+great people+cheaper cost of living. Thats what makes Cebu awesome because of its character... A City should have a character, a trademark and identity.

I love the initiative. Creating a full documentary of the hot places to visit when one in Cebu. However, I noticed that 50 percent of what the two hosts are saying are misleading or its so exaggerated. Pls get your facts straight next time. (One example is where they inform viewers that all artifacts in Jesuit House are original.. No, the artifacts one can see in the house are only antiques. The only thing original is the house itself.)

I am not Cebu yet? but I am pretty sure the name being phonically unchanged since prehistoric times is wrong. I do not that dinosaurs used a spoken language.

great shots and fair script but the male host didnt fit into this production. he sounded TH with his English accent. very articial. I know Cebu has many talents, why this guy? and whose the guy named "Kay"? can't you find other people to interview? he said " nice culture" well, clearly this Kay doesn't understand culture.b

Amazing Planet Channel is not a Cebu-based production. Its home base is in Iloilo so I presume the hosts as well as the prod crew are Ilonggos.

Sorry, but this is full of shit research. The original name of the Rajahnate in that area is "Sugbu" (big fire). The name "Cebu" is derived from Cebuano "sibo" ("to trade"), and it originally referred ONLY to the port and trading markets of that city. It was also near the district where Chinese traders stayed under Spanish rule, and still survives to this day as the Parián (Spanish for "chinatown").
