I love Ono shohei quotes/principle : 1. I rarely watch my opponents video competition because my goal is to improve my judo , NOT to adjust to my opponent . 2. I never satisfied with my performance. I never give myself full score, I only give myself 73 out of 100 3. I will turn all the pressure into positive energy 4. Whenever I fight, I fight fair and square
Hell of Fire, I am been waiting for this Video for a long time, #Ono skills, strengths, and technics are stunning and unique

I rarely ever see non weightlifting athletes perform snatches with good form. Shohei Ono actually has very decent form on his snatch So sad to hear that he's retiring. He's still at the top of his game. He can be a 3-time Olympic champion!! Just one more year and he could go get his last Olympics. I wonder what made him decide to retire.

Boriness. You see all the efforts made to achieve his goals. He's very talented (because he has worked hard), but he needs to work a lot too. And he had already proved many times he was the best of all. So the motivation is gone. I think it's a bit easier for Riner (I don't say it's easy), for example, weight is not so much an issue. And Riner has the motivation of Paris Olympics. I pitied Japanese Jodoka who couldn't compete in front of their home crowd during Tokyo Olympics. It was a very sad thing.

Muy bien Ono.Practicar con gente de distintos pesos te darán potencia y rapidez.Los de mayor peso, potencia en tus movimientos, y los de menor peso te exigirán rapidez.Vamosss
Jano Šuhaj the body as tool, the physic science and strategy in practise + highest physical condition = visible prevalence over competitors. Thanks for valuable examples from judo cradle training

What a pity he couln't be Olympic Champion in front of his home crowd in Tokyo. The empty place was very sad to see, and I think most of Japanese judokas didn't seem very happy. Ono seemed especially bored (as he can appear in some occasion). Perhaps he lost the mojo after that. (In addition to having already proved on many occasions he was the best of all, at the cost of the great efforts we can see in the video.)
