Anna Smith hey i am also a 9th grade who plays soccer year round and was interested in basketball it’s definitely not to late to start. i play for my high school freshman team but we aren’t very good because most of us are new but I recommend any house leagues in your area that’s what one of my friend is doing and she likes it. ya it can be scary sometimes but a lot of skills you use in soccer actually transfers over to basketball and it’s okay that you’re shy you can ease into socializing with the team . but I definitely recommend you try, for me it was totally worth it and im not great but I still enjoy it! good luck! (also ik you wanted paisley to respond but yk I was here and you asked so)
