I went to the Crown Classic in Charlotte last weekend and watched two games. Penn St vs U Penn and Wingate vs Limestone. The Penn St vs Penn game was great with U Penn winning by one late in the forth quarter. That being said the D2 matchup between Wingate and Limestone was much better lacrosse. More intense, faster paced, more action. Wingate won in overtime. I was expecting a drop off in the game level from D1 to D2 but it was the opposite.
