Either that b18b1 has 1,700,000km on the motor and is about the explode, or the driver is 8 years old and was able to finally reach the gas pedal, hell NO that should not lose or be beside a stock SOHC D16.

+supersoni126 My comment was insulting driver. I own both a b18b1 eg hatch with an LS trans and another d16z6 eg hatch with an Si trans, the power is incomparable the DOHC is purely dominant.

that B18 is pretty weak It probably has low compression (burning oil smoke from the tailpipe)
