Watching this amazing Disney presentation got me thinking-what if Walt Disney Animation Studio took on the challenge of remaking Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy? The magic of Walt Disney animation studio combined with the iconic story of Astro Boy could create something truly spectacular. Imagine the animation and storytelling depth Disney could bring to this legendary character. Let's make it happen, Disney!

I think they wouldn’t be able to build around little mermaid because it would feel misplaced! So, Disney will have no choice but to say goodbye to Muppets for good! I like the idea because they’re not that popular anyway!

Josh D'Amaro, I'm not sure why you need to convince your audience that "This isn't blue sky. We're gonna do all this!" unless you are tacitly acknowledging that you have mislead the public before and made promises that you, frankly, did not care if you fulfilled. And if that is what you conveying, why should anyone believe your current pleas? BTW, you also turned it into a park that costs $150 to enter and then you say, "Sure, but if you really want to ride the good stuff, gimme your credit card..."

Because his predecessor Bob Chapek was notorious for announcing concepts that were never followed through. With the exception of the ideas specifically labeled as Blue Sky in 2022, all of Josh’s announcements have come to fruition and this is the brightest the future of Disney Parks has looked in years. You’re entitled to your own opinion, but Josh seems to genuinely care. (Also, ticket prices were overpriced looooong before he showed up)

@@j.thaddeustoad459 And you think I am talking about a specific person, but I mean that their legally authorized representative promised many things at EPCOT, for example, that never came to pass: Cherry Tree Lane, the Expo (elevated) Pavilion (which was why they fully destroyed the Innovention buildings), the new Spaceship Earth and the Play Pavilion, among many others. At a minimum, it does no harm to acknowledge the company's sketchy history when it comes to promises broken, particularly if they wish to rebuild a relationship they damaged. You can peer into his soul and form an opinion about "Josh," but that's truly conjecture. Nothing I wrote is opinion, unless you rode a Mary Poppins ride in UK I was unaware of. They lied and that's a full stop. As for the ticket prices, it is also not opinion to note that under Mr. D'Amaro, and Bob Chapek before him, prices crashed through the $100 barrier with gusto. Today, they can cost as much as 60% more than that, which is double the rate of inflation, even with the past few year seeing global inflation (and the United States' 30% since 2015) at significantly higher rates than the historical average. Again, not "opinion," unless that word means something different than it used to. There is also an argument to make that the value of those tickets are significantly lower because they demand up to another $40 a person to access the FastPass system they somehow managed to make money from up, despite it being included in admission prices, up until 4 years ago. I'm glad you are fine with the value proposition, since you are clearly their target customer now. But I used to be. I spent my youth in Disneyland and I've had AP for WDW and DL for the better part of 30 years. Until I realized that they saw customers less as "guests" than walking money bags that had been cheating the company for all our lives and now we needed to suffer for that loyalty. You support them your way, and I am going to support them by being one of the only 10% of aggrieved customers (Disney and those in the hospitality industry know that number to be true) to voice their displeasure. That way, they have the choice about whether they want to salvage many shattered bonds between a formerly vaunted company and the public that they lost.

Hi, can we please have an official post about your Monster's Inc announcement? Muppet Vision 3D is my favorite attraction at Disney, not to mention it has incredible historical significance to the theme park & entertainment industry in general. Please address the "creative ways" you will be preserving & featuring this incredibly beloved & important piece of art & history for its loyal fans & the Jim Henson family. Better yet, please keep it where it is & move the land to somewhere better suited. This is not something you can hide behind & sweep under the rug. Your own loyal fan base deserves better as we are the ones who keep your company in business. This is not something that can simply "be streamed" on Disney+ either. It needs its full effects, animatronics, pre-show, & live actors to be experienced properly. Please address this concern formally. Thank you.
