D2R Skills & Abilities - Holy Freeze, Offensive Auras (Paladin)

Doom is a viable option for one weird build that I personally really like which became possible with Sunder charms and that is the Cold Druid one... Also in some off meta builds like Auradin or Avenger or some odd hybrid. Ice is other runeword with Holy Freeze which is being utilized by Frost maidens, hybrid builds or Act 1 mercs. Now what you didn't mention in this video Mr. Ginger is aura stacking and that's something I would like to know more of (even tho it's not possible to stack Holy Freeze from equipment yet), because there are many opposing information on the internet about that mechanics for the current D2R version.

Reeeally wish Doom had the Indestructible mod. Double eth zerker axes with that rw on a barb, maybe a nightwing's and an inventory filled with cold dmg charms for maximum roleplay. lv 24 holy freeze -120 res oouf

I use a holy freeze merc with my summon druid, with heart of wolverine. Any thoughts from you Ginger and others?

don't the durability is terrible, and it will break every 5 seconds.

​@@GGMentorunless you do a 2H Version of this. That should be viable because holy freeze offers some defensive options making up for the lack of a shield. And the -enemy res will be massive as will be the physical damage. Combine it with a might merc using reader's roll to trigger decrepify.

Freeze effect is useful but Holy fire is stronger.

nope, I have literally 30 some odd videos pre scheduled for D2R, so I could be hands free playing Diablo 4. The D2R videos will continue to release 1 per day for quite a while, despite me not having booted up the game.
