When i first started playing D2R (after 15 years in D2), i started with a bowzon and got stuck once i reach hell. A buddy of mine found this and passed it to me, i finished the game using it. And yes, once i used it imediately i socketed 2 shael rune on it. Its a good crossbow. Helped me to progress my game.

7:28 if you put a angelic ring and amulet for a huge attack rating multiplied for the 150% attack rating in the crossbow can help a lot to hit the targets.

You can also add a sheal rune and a rare jewel that increases attack speed and gives other bonuses

First I thought about an enchant sorc, but Demonmachine is definitely better. It also has much lower req, big AR boost and fires exploding arrows. Gratz on 15k subs

The immolation Arrow is pretty nice for the sorc though.

Unlike everyone else I use 1xShael & 1xHel in this to cut the strength req. This xbow "bare" is 18fpa, With 1 shael it's 16fpa, with 2 15fpa. Instead if you assume you have another 30 ias from other gear (sigon or death set combo) then with 1x shael you hit 14fpa and same with 2. The strength saving from hel can be used for more dex or vit.

This thing is just too slow for Enchantress 😢. I shael'd it & put on max ias gear & sooooo slow. Maxed light & fire mastery & expected 🤩.. but na🤡

Another thing is that, if you're an assassin then you don't need any atk speed modifiers on it, you can just use their burst of speed skill and go all out with the crossbow.

You can add poison damage and do magic arrow and that's my friend, it's the full spectrum. Maybe you can use this as a druid? So you can do all those elemental damage and the rabies?

I use this on my crossbow mancer as his main weapon an I use this to speed up the first initial kill before I use Ce my crossbow mancer is very fun when I’m clearing the game any zone is fine on basically a full summoner but I get to use crushing blow, open wounds and choke points are not to big of a deal . Also if you were an enchant sorc with a demon machine this could be your switch 2 for fire immunes

Would think of Paladin, but Vengeance doesn't benefit from this, sadly. If Crossbows would fire a tad faster or hit a little harder and Vengeance would see a change to boost all added elemental damage, I think this could work pretty well

As with all crossbows, Hellrack's biggest downside is the fact that it is indeed a crossbow. In my experience it can be used to deal with physical immunes but it's not a mind-blowing weapon.

I think of this weapon as being a good example of an elite unique that could use updating, and that the charges on this and other such weapons should be an oskill.

This thing looks like a prime candidate for an enchant sorceress with two shael runes in it, because the enchant would apply to the immolation arrow charges. Thinking about it more, I think it would be amazing, especially with dragon in body armor!

Like you I immediately thought two shael runes is kinda a must. I agree non zon characters might be better. I thought about it might be something I would use one a summon Necro. When I play them I tend to stick back and a elemental crossbow would be something I would consider. I don't know what everyone thinks about using it that way?

Double shael until you find some good ed%/15ias jewels. I normally run this on a budget bowazon with magic arrow and strafe.

Any idea on how much the immolation charges cost to repair? With pierce I think the immolation effect spreads to multiple enemies! Side question (I did ask this on different video) but do you know when mist runeword is supposed to be available single player non ladder? Overall trying on players 7 in hell with out any sockets filled and low ED/AR bonus, I'm pretty disappointed in bows output but I'm also running an upped buriza as a comparison. I also have an upped WWS..

No the vengeance skill adds damage based on physical damage. Elemental damage tends to perform very poorly with the skill. Also vengeance doesn't work with a bow or Xbow anyway.
