What's going on guys. Here is my take on the HOTA Barb that also uses charge for utitity and I must say HOTA is once again the King of D4 in Season 3, this build is Super Strong and does tons of Damage just one shotting everything for the most part. This build uses NO UBER Unique's because I know the majority of people don't have them right now and may never get them. Don't get me wrong, with uber Unique's this build could be hitting for a lot more than it does already, but it does just fine without them. Also, since the patch the construct feels a lot better now, I cover that also. If you guys have any questions or comments let me know, hope Season 3 is going good for you guys, thanks for the visit.

i reset all my skill points and have put everything in except the three in heavy handed, wallop, brute force, and the one point to unbridled rage, but i only have 6 skill points remaining. i don't understand why i'm short 4 points

I would like to Thank You for this Post as it is the most informative I have come across and with that let me explain . I have tried the Barbarian since first season and just did not understand the grasp and died over and over to the point I deleted it . This season I made a Choice to Finish a Barb and as I got to 70 started struggling again and this Video saved me as of last night .I used all the tips you you put out and Wow first Hell tide I did that I survived and got the 2 main Chests and have made it to lvl 75 with no deaths . Now that is a Improvement ! I don`t have all the gear you mentioned but do have few when I hit 80 but , Changing some of the stats alone on the gear I am using made a Ton of difference in Overall Play .. Thank you again for your very informative easy to understand post with no nonsense ! Yes I subscribed !! Your a Beast !!

Great build. It works a treat. Thank you for sharing it. Your video was clear and easy to follow. I just need to get some of the stats on my gear right and get used to the build and I’m sure I’m going to be doing Tier 100 soon. Did my first Tier 96 with this build with relative ease. One change I made was to use Iron Skin in the spare skill slot. It gives a nice extra bit of shield temporarily and makes the build a bit more tanky. Again, thanks for the vid! 👍🏼

Really appreciate this build and the thought that went into it. Bonus for shopping: I was going MAD trying to figure out how you were getting so much armor! I'm level 99 and my gear is mostly high 800s and low 900s but not enough to account for a nearly 5000 armor difference. Turns out I had gotten a chest upgrade and forgot to put Juggernaut on it, haha! So your guide had the unintended side effect of helping me figure out I was short changing myself on defense! Cheers.

i switched from a full charge speedfarm build to a boss killer hota build to farm ubers but i was hating it because i couldnt survive even a T80, even helltide was slow. This build gives me more survivability so i can do any content decently fast while still farming bosses, great stuff thank you!

Just got Shako to drop this weekend. Really looking forward to trying this build. I struggle through 94 and 95 dungeons and you cruise through this 100 NMD. I want the Grandfather next as well. The best Barbarian build, i was using the Hota/charge from max roll and this one does like double the damage and the barrier from the pet keep you on the fight. Good Work XP Games

Dude, after reading al the comments and watching the video i thaught its to good to be true. Just one shotted son of malphas, easy vault clears and enough mobility. The only difference is that i use whirlwind instead of the basic skill. Amazing build and defenetly gonna use this for a while. Thank and keep up the good work!

This build has been so much fun! I've watched the video a couple of weeks ago but I forgot what changes I should do if I have a unique helm and a unique weapon. At the moment I'm rocking Andariel's Visage and Grandfather so I'm thinking which aspects to prioritize when I've lost the 2 aspects with equipping these items. The damage is great already though 😁 I guess my weakest point is fury generation / consumption so I might need to work on that I guess.

Ok changing my barb to this setup today. Oh and btw, your ticks were WAY higher than you claim. I scrubbed through that 100 run at the end and in the middle of the run you had a couple crits that were way over 500mil! I believe one was around 586,000,000! Good stuff.

I made a barb and left it to play necro and druid after level 72, i was struggling with the whole swap weapons 8times for big dmg. I saw this last night and thought I would give it a try and if it doesn't work then will delete the barb. But not having to weapon swap 8times has made it easier to play. Dropped lunging strike off my skill bar, i'm level 72 and thought it would scuff the build but so far it hasn't. Ty for this build dude.

PS level 74 doing a tier 40NM vault for levelling and I 1shot a butcher, I saw him, saw his barrier get popped and next thing he was gone. I was shocked i thought maybe he had left the room then realised he was dead hahahahahahaha

I played the Maxroll version of hota all the way to level 100 and was very unsatisfied with the random one shot deaths. This build is so much better with more survivability and higher uptime on wrath of the berserker for 100 vaults. Follow this one over maxroll!

Tibaults really is a staple for all these end game builds, can't really spam without it. Some of the paragon choices don't make sense until you are maxed, that first board wouldnt make sense to not take the dmg from the start, would only switch that out when you're essentially one shotting everything.

Your right I would put 2 handed mace there also for max damage cause we dont rely on swapping weapons with this build.

I would use the aspect of echoing fury to eliminate lunging strike for fury generation and replace it with challenging shout for an addition reset on charge from the marshal glyph and additional fury generation but otherwise a pretty strong build.

Before using this build, I already said that I play as a barbarian all seasons. Having received all the uber unique items and stones from Malphas, I tried to switch to other builds with beautiful names... And again, with another disappointment in them, I return to this one. Yes, you can squeeze more damage out of a barbarian, yes, you can increase the speed of completing dungeons, but at the same time the whole game becomes more difficult. By increasing one, you will lose in the other. This build is versatile and very balanced. In a “solo” everyone “falls” with one hit, and in a full party with two or three hits. The defense can withstand any blow from any monster, and completing dungeons is fast and comfortable. The game has turned into relaxation and entertainment. Thank you, XP Games! In my opinion, you are geniuses! )))

Aspect of elements also boosts physical damage, and as far as ancestral charge I dont use it, we use charge mainly for utility even though it can one shot for millions of damage with overpowers at times. But if you wanted to incorporate it you could. Drop the conceited aspect for it, and use adrenaline on your construct.

Hi there stumbled on this build by accident and was wondering why ur not using the Earthstriker aspect as almost every1 does? Is it not handy to get the overpower active? Also I'm using both unique rings Red Furor and Ravenous. Basically no need for resource ring as Charge with Tibault gives enough resource and due to extra ranking on Charge on Ravenous the Charge cooldown time gets so low you can use it nearly permanent. Whats your thoughts on that?
