At the end of this anime, they announce that Pkey will be representing their school so they will be going (as we can tell from the game). The other units attending will be Merm4id, RONDO, Lyrical Lily, Photon Maiden, and Happy Around.

This season may have ended, but as far as I know, this season alone is just the beginning of Rinku and Happy Ara's adventure/story. I know too that Happy Around! may have lost to Peaky P-Key in the Sunset Stage, but I'm really glad that they had the honor to compete up there after a lot of hard work and still had loads of fun performing in the end! Hopefully, by the Second Mix, there will be other big and exciting new opportunities for Happy Around! to explore in the DJ world. 💛 (I can't wait for the Second Mix/Season Two of the anime to come out next!)

For those who are confused this is POSSIBLY the end of First Mix. A season two is very possible but since on the D4DJ social media pages they keep advertising this as the last episode don’t expect it. This IS NOT the end of D4DJ anime content all together. There will be a mini anime start February 10 in Japan titled D4DJ Petit Mix. PETIT MIX IS NOT A SEASON TWO IT IS A MINI SERIES. It will air episodes weekly on both the Japanese account and Global account. Everyone will return and even new units! Look forward to it!

D4DJ: Double Mix (Separate Season 2) included Merm4id, RONDO and Lyrical Lily. (Spoilers to first episode): Merm4id and RONDO do a collab, decision made by Rika Seto, Lead Vocalist of Merm4id. Tsubaki Aoyagi (and the rest of RONDO) is rather surprised. A reveal was made by D4DJ as Rika Seto and Tsubaki Aoyagi are childhood friends, while Tsubaki says that they had quote, “Only met in Elementary School”. Word got around quick for the special 2Man Live Collab as others said that either RONDO or Merm4id’s reputation would be destroyed. Tsubaki hears and is almost scared that RONDO would be bit to the dust for its reputation if they made that collab, including herself. In the Church, Tsubaki looks at the rapid texts about the performance the next day Rika sent her. Rika then finds Tsubaki in the Church as Tsubaki questions how she even got here. Rika replies that Tsubaki’s unit member (And probably GF), Aoi Miyagi told her about the location. Whilst Rika talks about the performance, Tsubaki begins crying, apologising for almost… nothing actually. Rika then freaks out and asks what’s wrong. Tsubaki soon opens up to Rika about how the collab was going to ruin the reputation for her and Rika’s unit. Rika.. then proceeds to cry as well, immediately leaping towards Tsubaki, making both of them fall. Rika tries her best to tell Tsubaki that nothing can be ruined just for that one single performance, since Tsubaki is RONDO’s frontman. “This is all for the sake of your childhood friend!” Rika smiles as she said. And… They both cry together. Anyway, they do the collab, viewed by the other 4 units, Happy Around!, Peaky P-Key, Photon Maiden and Lyrical Lily. The song they were doing was the song: FAKE-OFF. A true banger.

There was so much in this episode and it changed so quickly that at some point I even started to feel a little dizzy, lol. Rinku's house, little ship tease moments, festival, more information about the release of the global version of the game, etc. But come on, it was a good final episode. Memorable performance, lack of plot armor, it's a sin to complain. I actually saw an animated mini version of the January live. So, thanks a lot for this show! Initially, I was pretty average about it , but in the end it turned out to be quite interesting. Especially Kyoko, any of her lines is an attempt to seduce you, lol. If this gets a second season, then I can't wait to see RONDO too. P.S. They don't show Saki's dynamite...eh :(

I'm smiling not just for the whole episode, but through every episode from the beginning. At first, i watch this in my free time, then it became one of the few things i wait every week. Never thought i would like the anime this much. Every moment, every character, every expression, all of the connection between the characters, the story, none of them i disliked. Heck, the dynamics of the face expression and body movement feels so goofty and refreshing. I really like it. The way they did the camera movement is very stylish and hard to do with hand-drawn animation. For now, the curtain has came down, marks the end of a show. Now we shall wait for the next curtain to open, when we'll embark on a new journey.

For what was essentially an idol anime, this was decently good. It's really the first idol anime I have seen that was actually watchable and somewhat enjoyable (and not for lack of trying the genre). I guess part of this was because they never really referred to themselves as idols (instead they were "DJs"), and the show focused more on them actually making their music than on typical idol show stuff.

I love how from the protags to mixing of units had the same vibes with Bandori. Happy Ara and PoPiPa is driven by crazy ideas of Kasumi and Rinku, and that how their groups are the ones linking the other group to another. They've really done it, you can really see that this is made by the same group of people. They never disappoint ❤️🤧 I'm going to miss this 🥺 I'd listen to the songs while waiting for season 2

I gonna be honest here, this is not the end yet as this is just the beginning of the d4dj festival aka d4fes. The hype is just there. Great effort for making this all episodes these are meaningful. It makes me hype so I can write my own novel 😁😁😁😁

This was a good episode to end off the season and a 2nd second season seems very likely just like Bandori. I loved the insert songs used for HapiAra vs Peaky. The end to the episode was just great I loved that all 3 groups performed their first singles. I also love that we got to see Merm4id, Rondo, & Lyrical Lily at the end. I hope to see them in CG,being a part of the story, & actually performing next season especially Merm4id since they are my favorite group next to Happy Around.
