Its a nice presentation not to long, not to short. two things missing.. first: how to setup camera pathes. secound can you export like in enscape executables to show your work without the host Programm. My feeling.. its comparable to Enscape. The images are realy not as impressive as i thought. but i usualy compare to real offline highend raytracers like Vray or corona. the tools are easy to use. some of them worse some of them better integrated as Enscape. but overal i feel enscape still wins here. Materials in Enscape seem a bit more advanced i think, but also in enscape still far away from pbr materials in Vray. a bit better as in enscape is the grass. but not that much better.. also good. animated people. It feels a bit to much photoreal. Enscape seems to be stronger as an architects working tool. just one click and you got your white moddel and wont discuss anymore materials. What is much better in Enscape i feel is the executable file for presentations.. and the VR mode. and as Enscape now part of Chaos just anounced, Enscape will be full compatible to Vray and bidirectional compatible. , so setting up your scene in Enscape in realtime at the end can be boosted with the highest Quality, no realtime renderer at the moment can acheave... we will see..

I’ve moved from lumion to d5 cuz it’s faster to render and you can import material & model from quixel bridge easily. And the quality it is really depends on how good your 3d model is and how you tweak material, effect and environment.

did they ever actually add a ground plane ?? its so weird that such powerful software still doesn't seem to have the most basic default of a ground plane...or maybe I'm a dummy - how do they not look at their competition and just put in all the low hanging fruit options by default?

I really want to use D5 but my graphic card is not enough for it. It released recently so it’s free but I hope D5 continue giving free asset at least until I update my computer. Really architectural softwares they are a lot and expensive

I have tried it, for Revit LT, since there are no plugins in Revit Lt I had to export it to FBX and then import it to D5 render..... the geometry is broken you can see the polygons. lost some elements walls half shown, some doors and windows are gone, also elements were gone too like furniture and plumping fixtures. all the material and geometry are grouped together so you cant apply a material to one element. you cant explode the imported model its basically useless if you import FBX.

Every time I close the D5 file and reopen it everything I did with the imported revit model disappears and if I load it again, the changes I had made such as material changes for example do not appear. What am I doing wrong? Can someone help me?

I love your work...since your vidéo of D5. Can you tell me the différence between twinmotion and D5...in performance and design. Is it comparable? And witch one do you prefer....I'm a student in collège and they showed us To render Revit in twinmotion and would like to explore for options. Thank you.

D5 Render's realtime performance is much better, personally speaking. You can try both of them

Twinmotion is more powerful and more realistic, but D5 will work smoother on mid-of-the-line hardware. I'm working with RTX 3070, and the real-time rendering in Twinmotion can still stutter once every few minutes (But I do run it on the highest quality setting). I tried them both, and the end result (Full 4K Render) was better with Twinmotion. D5 performs like the first version of Twinmotion. I'm sure they'll improve in the future, just like Twinmotion has. I'm an early adopter of TM, so it's free for me. If I was to choose today, I might have gone with D5.

When I try the grass trick at 24:20, the grass only covers a few "faces" of my ground. It doesn't cover completely like yours did. Do you have any idea why that is? PS I'm a complete newbie to this. I made the house and basic terrain in Sketchup and imported it to D5.

SIR , Why revit creates so many files for 1 project ? (Luke .0001 , .0002 , .0003 , etc ) And how to bring it down to 1

When you save your project in revit it created some backup files as per your settings..you can bring down to 1 by going to options in file tab.
