D52 Kroja departure 1981

By 1981, mainline steam in Java was at a low ebb and would come to an end in the next few years. This clip shows a Krupp D52 2-8-2 leaving Kroja on a mixed train to the west, either to Banjar or Purwokerto.

a very beautiful memorable steam locomotive, which also served in my city, Tulungagung. but I ask permission to refute that the departing train scene is at the Madiun station.

I think this is Madiun, the train being Mixed Train for Solo Balapan/Yogyakarta

No you are wrong. This is definitely Kroja, because I was nowhere near Madiun in 1981.

The station building makes it very clear that it is Madiun Station, not Kroya. At the beginning of the video, the hip roof design on black-roofed buildings still exists today. Even the iron tower (0:44) and the signal box (1:05) are still there today. This video was taken from the west side of Madiun station and you can see it on Google Streetview Dari bangunan stasiun terlihat jelas bahwa itu adalah Stasiun Madiun, bukan Kroya. Di awal video, desain atap limasan pada bangunan beratap hitam masih ada hingga saat ini. Bahkan menara besi (0:44) dan rumah sinyal (1:05) juga masih ada sampai sekarang. Video ini diambil dari sisi barat Stasiun Madiun dan dapat dilihat di Google Streetview
