It was the star attraction for sure and the noise even on tick over could be heard from the other end of Kiddieminster station! -i saw you filming from the first carriage with your stork a few times and i evben spoke to you as i was the chap who was trying to go through the last door when the Hymek was on the other side!! -great video and a very enjoyable event.

I remember! I started my hobby in 1978 at 12 years of age so missed the Hymeks on the mainline.. I think they are terrific - the sounds that come out of them are very different! Love the concept of a video (with proper sounds) shot from just behind the loco - gives a great impression of being on the trip andohow the loco is working as it pulls away from stations and up any gradients. Great video - makes me want to make the trip to what looks like one of the better preserved railways...

Yes and yet I believe they didn't make it tio TOPS numbering so this would have been 35076 potentially!
