43:35 you got that part wrong I think. You even turned the model plane to your right when you meant and said "Left". For a Clockwise turning propeller as viewed from the pilot. Pitching up will result in a right turning tendency. Pitching down will result in a left turning tendency. This might be the reason why the FAA are calling these the turning tendency instead.

A student in a 172 flipped and did a nose dive into the ground landing under 30 seconds after a Blackhawk took off at my airport. They now keep helicopters on the opposite side of our taxiway from the runway.

@@cheesepilot I want to thank you for your hard work and dedication to aviation. Keep it up. PS. I was told years ago that confess was the first step because one needs to admit to themselves they are lost and need help before they can take action.

Alternators are a type of generator. So nothing wrong with referring to it as a generator. Generator is an umbrella term kind of like motor and engine.
@cheesepilot3 ай бұрын
Nope they function differently and can have different symptoms when failing
@alexnone33743 ай бұрын
@@cheesepilot that is true, but its still an alternating current GENERATOR. Alternators are generators, but not all generators are alternators.

Not sure if you have pitot heat! wow

Hey, this isn't for people to talk s*** on these students. This is intended to help people recognize the questions that might be asked on a check ride and the reasonable and expected responses.
@LouiethePilot-2Learn7 ай бұрын
I think you’re right. Maybe I could have worded that differently. You are making good videos here. That one caught me off guard. I mean, to be this far into the game where you are checking to see if you are checkride ready, and not being familiar with a pitot tube. That got me. I know this video will help students learn their Pitot-Static system better. Thanks for your valuable content.

Pitot heat/carb heat (when carbs exist) are mentioned in checklists. Should be familiar just from checklists.
