I remember my son's 1st day of kindergarten. I had cleared my schedule and was prepared to stay with him the entire day, and he said, "Bye Mommy" and left me standing in the hallway crying & looking crazy. He's 20 now and still independent.

I bet stinky man was like, yall can go. I got this. He is such a busy boy. I cried when my eldest son started school. Then i cried when my first grandson started daycare. I was at that school everyday before school was out. I feel you Bret.

You will get strong over time my oldest son is 41 years old now my mom and I went with him his first day of kindergarten his teacher called him maybe 2 weeks before school started to meet him over the phone and I think that made him so comfortable and he talked with his teacher like he'd been knowing her all his life

I know it’s hard Brat… but you’re doing the right thing.. trust me. He can be around children his own age… he will thrive. It will help with his overall development. I’m proud of you. 👍🏻 ❤

I love this for Brat. Active parents go through this and it is an uneasy feeling. I found a childcare center that has cameras that the parents could login to at anytime. It was a bilingual center; I loved it. They had a nurse on staff. ❤

Brat you will be alright in time. Some days you going to be late, picking him up. When you have something to do. I agree, I didn’t let my granddaughter, stay all day. From 8am to 2pm is long enough.

Brat when my youngest son went to Nursery school for 1st time ,yes I picked him up early it was hard I cried a few times days because my sons are 18 yrs apart the oldest never went he stayed home with my GGMAMA,GAunt & cousin. I don’t understand why a baby needs all these supplies 🧐.Ricky in 2005 in February right after I had several strokes for my Birthday my son brought tickets for myself & a friend to see you & Fantasia in my hometown Florence SC ,what a great present U both were 🫶🏽👏🏾

Burlington has nice things for children and adults. Kids grow fast and for those who may not be able to afford some of the pricier options like Brat and Judy, her comments sound a bit elitist.

And NO daycare or "school" is requiring an 18 month old toddler to have a binder and ink pens. Come on, the school ain't schooling.

Somerhing not right. What daycare, even educational, requires an 18-month to have binder and ink pens. Make it make sense, who are they pretending for, or is this a Target promo.

Da Brat you're acting like an overbearing mother remember he have a teacher and if you're acting like that it's difficult for the teacher to get to know your son so you need to stop all that you're being a little bit too over protective and the way you're talking it don't seem funny it seems like you have a codependency with the baby and that's not healthy I remember when my son went to school his first day I was crying but he got in his class and he saw all those toys he didn't cry so I had to get it together because my baby was happy and that helped me stop doing that celebrity acting out for show all you celebrity women' you all tell the same story you're sharing today you're talking the same way about your son first day going to school and it seem like it's for show and tell you celebrity mothers y'all have the same talking points I'm not speaking against you because you're a first time mother but I am saying you need to let go for a few hours he has a teacher who she needs to bond with your son for learning.

I understand, my grandson was 3 and I made a surprise visit to his school I got out of the car and heard my baby screaming i ran in and they stopped me at the door. They tried to hold me back I ran to his rescue he saw me and jumped out into my arms and held onto my clothes so tight. They said he was crying over another Childs toy. I know his cry and they where lying. His little cheeks where red I gathered his belongings and told them B!@#$ to have a good day and he never went back.
