I got this watch a few days ago. Love it. Thank you for the review/ tutorial. With the updated version, when I added the weather and put the location in the app on my phone, it showed up as one of the main screens. Nice. Second note, my blood pressure reading was super high too. (As in over 30+ points on the top number). I did some research on some medical sites. They recommend to make sure the watch is tight and put your wrist up even with your heart to make it more accurate. They do prefer the cuff instead of wrist or finger readings as the blood vessels are smaller in those locations. Good luck all! Keep healthy and moving while shut in and hunkering down!

You can also hold finger over circle on home screen to check battery life 👍 Mine unfortunately has stopped communicating my running stats with the app. For the money is been good to us, has gotten worse so it's time for hubby and I to upgrade, but it was a great first fit watch for us.

I do not like that you cannot turn off light at night. I dimmed it as low as it would go but still bright at night. Every time I move it lights up. Keeps me awake.

Yes you can change the watch face. You install dafit app on your phone and you can select from around 300 different watch faces. You can do many other things using their app.

It's a watch you should talk about how to change the time/date. Does the app mirror the time/date from your phone? Can you manually set the time/date?, if so from the watch or do you need the app. ---Think you can hold touch area down on time screen to see battery.

@@rmhiatt Thanks. - Lots of people have trouble with these types of watches (many brands) not syncing / connecting to bluetooth. Lots of people get it connected once than they get disconnect and have trouble re-connecting a second or third time. High rate of returns, do to connection problems. Reviews need to tell people the watch is worthless if you can't get a bluetooth connection to the app on your phone. Without bluetooth connected to app you can't set the time, or change any settings and can't update the firmware. I think they should have a backup way to connect to app - maybe by way of USB charge cable or wifi. This way you could set time etc. and do updates. Note weather needs a WIFI or data connection (turned on) on phone in addition to bluetooth, to get info from the internet to watch.

Problems with the watch today I'm trying the exercise and now it's low locked up into that mode and won't go back to the regular watch showing time. It also has lost contacts frequently and that's another part of the watch that is locked up

I brought this yesterday, I connected it to my phone no problem. I want to track my walks but it only has "Run" on the screen and it only showed the beginning of the walk and the ending it didnt track inbetween. Mines frozen don't detect touch anymore I did use it while washing dish towels and cloths in a bowl my shirt was wet I towel dried it and I don't know if it's damaged because everything still works except the touch part where you scroll to see the features

Thank you, that was really interesting. We got one each and they arrived on Monday. Would you have any idea what the calories burned is talking about? Our Garmin and FitBit used to count our calorie burn for the whole day and end up with a figure around 2000. This watch only ends up at about 350 so we have no idea what they mean.

I've had the watch for 4 weeks and have really enjoyed it. Then, about a week ago ,it started turning on its light when I was trying to go to sleep, especially if I moved. Then I realized the battery was low so I hooked it up to charge The face lit up and then went off and it has never come on again. I am beginning to think I am the problem or da fit doesn't work. I got it a few days ago but HR, BP, SPO2 doesn't seem to work at all. The manufacturer was kind enough to send me another unit after I reported to them that the 3 features weren't working. So I get the replacement today and after struggling alot tightening it and moving a round, I got one recording of the HR. This watch is messing up my moods big time. I feel like throwing it away when I see the common word 'please wear it again' That message sounds insulting. It's as if I am told to do it the right way. I was buying this to replace my old one wich worked effortlessly but it seems I will go back to my buying what I know works.

I just bought one 4 days ago. It missed one night of sleep data, the others have been ok. Sometimes switching blue-tooth off and on again on your smartphone seems to 'wake' it up. Try the reset function on the watch itself ? (I don't know what this actually does !) Or maybe switch the watch off completely ? Also check you have the watch so it can't move ?

I found the blood pressure wasn't accurate either day one I'm going to tighten move the watch around to see which I already have I've done tried moving it I've tried tightening it but I will continue to see but heart rate even had blood oxygen which I thought was great to see what your oxygen level is also has a lot of features and I was very excited because I got this on sale it was a normally 69 I got it for 22 so it really does a lot of stuff not sure how to get the alarm to work it just vibrates on my arm didn't have a lot of instructions with it at all just a basic have a app it up but little disappointed on the blood pressure part

When on the Time Interface, if you hold down on the touch button, the next screen that pops up will show how much battery charge you have left. Also, I have a notification dot on the Da Fit icon on my phone. Have not been able to figure what that is notifying me of and have not been able to get rid of it. Do you know how to shut that off? Can't find it anywhere in the instructions.

If you hold capacitive button when time is displayed, it will show battery icon and MAC address. I got one bundled with an Oppo Ax5s. It easily lasts 10 days between charges, and frankly I like it! Its no Apple watch or Fitbit, but it covers the basics pretty well. When I pair it with the Da Fit app, it says its a Y8 watch?

How do you get the screen to stay lit for more than 5 seconds at a time?

There is a setting for that in the app where you can see the battery usage at the top and it has a picture of the device there. Below is watch face, notifications, alarms, shutter, others and upgrade. Click on OTHERS. Go down to auto lock and select the amount of time screen should stay on. I chose 20 seconds, when finished, click done.

Love this thing. Have had it three days and everything seems to work fine. Not sure how accurate the health readings are but they are working and sending data to the app. I like the sleep data function a lot although, the verbiage on how it displays the data is a bit wonky. Says over 28% wake up early? Over 28%. Guessing almost everybody idk. I wish it had a classic analog face to download that would fit right to the bevel but I paid $40 for it off of amazon so I can’t complain. Fingers crossed this bad boy works properly after it’s first recharge. Great battery life. Just wish the app’s information was a little more concise.
