DA: Here's what it takes to investigate and prosecute an elder abuse case

No one does ANYTHING to help the elderly! I tried and tried until I finally had to rescue my mom myself. Courts wanted to let her stay in his abusive controlling care! He stole many thousands and physically abused her. Shame on our court system! She’s left with the clothes on her back and at least has got to preserve much of her accounts but by no thanks to judges or corrupt courts.

I have received no help and I’ve already went to court. It’s been a year of me reporting to APS, court evidence. He resides there but is NOT her caregiver nor is my other sibling. New locks on the doors and chains on fence. It’s breaking me and police say if she says she’s “fine” they will not do anything. 😢

How do I report and get results? I haven't gotten support from officials in my state to date. Im not familiar with the laws. Thanks for sharing!
