Thank you again Alison for the little history lesson. My great grandad was a fisherman from Lerwick, but later became the fist mate on a clipper ship that sailed between Leith and Copenhagen. According to family history, the Shetland men in my family were whalers as well as fishermen. Quite a dangerous task I think. I enjoy how you incorporate the Shetland life into your designs. Such a respectful and beautiful art expression. Thank you for sharing. You and your knitting inspire me. 😊

Thankyou. The sweater is just something I designed and made for myself, I've not written the pattern as yet but quite a few have asked so I hope to get round to it someday soon:)
