I recall a memorable event of Nishtar hall Peshawar as a young student when Late Mehdi Sb remarked that " Khyal kicks off from the pitch that we end ghazal with"....wah so true! Listen to this ghazal and decide. I don't know music much but in this ghazal our pride Khyal sb moves his voice domains above 1/2 Sapt when renders first line of poet warrior Khushal Khattak Baba who is also national poet of pakhtuns
