Guys get rid of that chair! I've seen so many guests have a hard time trying to sit it in and this poor woman is having to sit sideways. She deserves better. Ditch the chair and just move the sofa over. Then all your guests could sit comfortably. Be respectful, they're called guests, treat them as such!

Randolph's performance is so layered and believable that it makes her side-plot feel like an entire story onto itself. It elevates the film tremendously.

She’s such a pro! And because of that there were no BS answers. Everything is to the point. All three actors were exceptional in the “Holdovers” - Paul Giamatti, Da’vine and the kid - but I think her part was the hardest. She didn’t have that many lines to work with as the other two. And in any case, her character is defined not by what she said but by what she didn’t say. It’s like a “negative drawing” in fine arts. Her work is definitely Oscar worthy.

It's so hard! They always have them turned so the guests are facing more toward the audience, so they're always in awkward positions to begin with for the whole interview as they try to turn to see the host also. Argh. But, I know what you mean. So uncomfy.

Ngl I heard her name, and rolled my eyes... mostly because of Adam Devine he pronounces his name in the same way... but then I saw her name spelled the correct way to pronounce it that way and also saw she was not a white woman trying to sound cool or different, or unique, and immediately clicked to watch the interview and I am so happy I did she is a doll, and I will actually watch The Holdovers because it looks exceptionally good.

@@vangelissopamena the way she sat down (using the arm of the chair for support). The way she sat (on the edge of the seat, not sitting back all the way, shoulders hunched). Look at the end. When they're talking about smoking, Seth makes a joke, she laughs, and her stomach doesn't even move. She was trussed up tight in something.
