Dal Turi Recipe - Sindhi Special

Preparation Time - 4 hours
Cooking Time - 20 mins
Serves - 4

Ingredients
Oil - 2 tbsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Onion - 2
Chana Dal - 1/4 Cup ( Soak 4 Hours)
Turi - 350 Grams
Tomato - 2 small
Green Chilli - 2
Ginger - Small Piece
Salt to taste
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1.5 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Water - 1/4 Cup
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Dry Mango Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp

Steps
➡️ Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add jeera and onions. Cook until golden brown.
➡️ Add soaked chana dal and saute for 2 minutes.
➡️ Add chopped turi, green chilli, ginger, tomato & spices. Give it a good mix. Add water 1/4 Cup.
➡️ Pressure Cook on medium flame for 4 whistles.
➡️ Mash it upto 60%. Add garam masala, dry mango powder and coriander leaves.
➡️ Serve hot with roti or rice.
