You keep saying Dawlad Goboleed , there is no such a thing called regional states , semi autonomous regions or Dawlad Goboleed What you have in Somalia is clan states/dawlad beeleedyo not regional states nor national states l, Where every so called cabinet member and member of parliament represents his or her clan, and every clan state/dawlad beeleed leader represents the majority clan of the clan state/dawlad beeleed, not the marginalized clans or .5 in the clan state Your government system and constitution is based on clans federalism, 4.5. The 4 so called major clans have each 66 members of the parliament or representatives, regardless of the clan’s number, meaning a 4 million clan and a 10 million clan have equal representation. If .5 clans are less than the 4 clans, why a 4 million clan is not less than a 10 million clan? Is that fair to the majority clans of the 4? What would happen if the failed state holds one man one vote? How would it affect the so called 4 clans? Of course the majority clans will be majority and the minority clans will be minority. And that’s why some of you are against one man one vote and sticking to the unjust 4.5 clan power sharing. If your government system is based on clans, why shouldn’t the clans face each other at the ballot boxes. The fundamental of your constitution is based on clan ideology which has over taken the senses of nationalism. Somalia has a homogeneous nomadic society with common language and religion. Somalia people are nomads who haven’t had boundaries between the clans for centuries and have crossed clan lines during the drought seasons in search of water and grazing for their livestock. Somalia nomads even cross the borders of the neighboring countries, like Ethiopia and Kenya during the drought seasons in search of water and grazing land for their livestock The most divisive issue between the Somali people is clan and the core of your constitution and government is clan federalism, which is anti unity and divisive. And you keep repeating Somali unity. Narrow mentality and tribalism will never work for Somalia as long as you keep distorting the truth and the reality on the ground How could sketching clan lines and boundaries between the clan states/dawlad beeleed, in the name of clan federalism, like the Green Line which divides Gaalkayo city, benefit nomadic tribes who are on the move in search of water? You call yourself educated and intellectual ,and you’re promoting and advocating for clan states and clan based federalism, showing your clan and tribe loyalty. Throwing here and there an english phrase doesn’t mean you’re civilized, educated or so called politically savvy, you’re what you preach and practice, regardless of your academic background. Don’t disguise and sugarcoat the real names of the clan states/dawlad beeleedyada by calling them Puntland, Jubba Land, Southwestern, GMudug, Hiirshabele, Jawhar etc, call them by their real names, Majeerteenia, Ogaden, Rahanwayn, Habar Gidir,Hawaadle and Abgaal. What is next? each member clan state of the clan based federal government to issue clan identification cards, so each clan member could use it or show when they need to go or visit other clan state/dawlad beeleed, even when they are in search of water and grazing land for their livestock in the neighboring clan state/Dawlad beeleed. What’s the solution to end Somalia’s prolonged conflict and clan supremacy ideology for the last 33 years? Face the root cause of the problem, and dismantle the divisive clan based federalism or 4.5 or implement the clan based federal system sincerely by drawing clan lines and boundaries between the clan states/Dawlad beeleedyada by following Puntland/Majeerteenia method, the mother of the federal system which has its boundaries based on clan/xuduud beeleed , like the Green Line in Galkacyo, Mudug. Sorry I don’t blame you guys , I see that you are addressing our brothers and sisters in the South, who use to believe that all black headed/black haired and MJs were equal in number.
