@@glassraven91 people are overreacting to the first RoosterTeeth layoffs they had to do since they got bought. They have had to reshuffle management structure as well, which is a normal thing that happens when revenue growth struggles happen. RoosterTeeth's issues are more rooted in how to make content that appeals beyond their existing fanbase that isn't RWBY, which severely limits growth potential.

Moonlit Slaughter Roosterteeth fires Vic Mignogna, voice of Qrow in their show rwby, based on false accusations. They’ve actually had 2 rounds of layoffs one earlier this year where 13% of their company was laid off and one just recently before Christmas/holidays. Burnie has changed his role to something else. Grey Haddock was forced to a different position. They don’t pay their animators for overtime, which basically means rwby and genlock and other animations were made for free. They raised prices for their first membership, and stopped doing grandfathered prices as a reward for loyal customers. They’ve basically lost cowchop, they’ve lost funhaus cause so many members have left. They’ve had to close down their Australian/oceanic stores due to lack of orders. They took a long while to vaguely respond to their Vice President of marketing beating his wife brutally, even though they made a statement about Vic. Overall the company is going down hill. Don’t let this other guy tell you otherwise he seems to be a hardcore RT fan trying to sweep their problems under the rug. I’d recommend watching the youtuber Hero Hei he has an entire playlist of RT’s problems in 2019

@@nerd_world8919 not a hardcore rt fan at all, literally just watch specific AH videos (GTA V, Mario Kart, and GMod), I just think people overreact due to not fully understanding the business side. Tho I forgot about the no OT for animators atrocity, which while I do think it's unfortunately the norm in the entire industry, is a mess that needs to be corrected in the FLSA to actually make a difference to animators. RT as a company is definitely not going under anytime soon, though. Layoffs happen periodically when you're a subsidiary of a larger parent company that has shareholder margins to worry about, and when you've had a big project flop like whatever the hell Arizona Circle was/is (see Target Corp's failed foray into Canada as an example of layoffs after a project flops). Layoffs for failed projects generally involve terminating the team you hired for it. I actually didn't know about the holiday layoffs, tho. I literally don't pay attention to them on any medium that's not KZbin and basically don't pay attention to anything that's not the previously mentioned content from AH. Also had no idea about the VP of marketing's domestic abuse, either. Like I said, don't pay attention to them outside of a few things and not outside of KZbin. Won't go into the Vic stuff as I'll leave that to the courts to decide.
