Cyclades islands are very expensive not only beacause they are touristy, but Athens is so close, so the prices are higher than Greece's average due to high visitation. Great video btw.

Its such a great island. But you have to get there in the right season. So its not overcrowded. Usually best parties happen towards the end of the summer. Whats your experience?

We were pretty lucky you know, out of season but just am that hit too much out of season that we missed the parties !

Another good video. For me mykonos is my least favorite island, but I have done 2 cruises that stopped there. As a cruise destination its great as you can walk the streets which are picturesque. Staying is only enjoyable for clubbers. It is an island for the jetset and as a result it is an absolute rip off. Even Santorini had its cheap options. Mykonos has a taverna and bakery here and there that are reasonable but overall there is no escape for the insane prices. What gets me is the beaches have no showers and are amongst the least tidy in the entire country.

I think Mykonos is way too overpriced compare to other islands. I’ve only been to Santorini and from what I heard, the prices are more reasonable compare to Mykonos. The medieval bakery was my fave besides the view and Little Venice town. I still would like to see Mykonos for myself but I would do it budget style 😂. Thanks for another great content as always!❤

Greek here. The profiteering in Mykonos is out of this world. I know you had to make it worth it but no it doesn't. Just some little colourful alleyways next to water doesn't explain these prices. Screw them. I recommend people to avoid this scam island. You have plenty of them which are way nicer and cheaper than Mykonos. On the other hand I can understand that in your case Mykonos is included in your cruise, so I don't blame you.

Hey Matt and Molly, we agree that Mykonos has more of a local flavor to it than Santorini which is more geared towards tourists. Harriet and I where there in early March shortly after the shutdown because of covid back in 2019. We spent much of time on the other side of the island. I was born and raised in that place..20 years ago sure it was a good place..Today is a junkhole that gathers the worst of people not only in parties but literally everywhere.Overpriced bad infstrastructure,and tons of other things that dont justify the prices there as well as the robbery from the stores and other services..
