biriyani is not from Pakistan or india, It's a south asian dish, every country have Their own version of biriyani, and Bangladesh is famous for Kacchi Biriyani, which is only found in Bangladesh

@dabbleandtravel it was fun to watch your blogs sitting here in the US. You guys are good sports and travel right. Some foods are certainly spicy and have an acquired taste and it was good to see you try a few different things. Bangladeshi cuisine stems from a few different, let’s call them “genres”. There’s Mughlai foods (biriyanis, kebabs, etc.), most rice, fish and veggie dishes are traditional home foods, bhortas (mashed) dishes are a whole world unto themselves and are the healthier options. There are several hundred dishes between these genres, which are quite delicious and suitable for most Western palates. In addition to these, Dhaka has great restaurants from most major countries around the world. You’ll find fantastic sushi, Korean bbq, Italian, Greek, Turkish, American, middle eastern, Chinese, Persian, Spanish, French, Mexican and much more. There are regional cuisines from many of these cuisines. Bangladeshis are BIG foodies. All restaurants in Old Dhaka are local foods. Good on you for being adventurous and giving these a shot!

My University. You missed Karzon hall. That is the oldest part of the university, built in 1921. Also there is a 300 years old Mosque in the campus. University campus also has grave of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. Many tourist miss some of the historical sites inside the DU campus.
