Meanwhile, Dabi believes that true heroes don't exist, incinerates innocent people, assists the League in crippling Overhaul for revenge, and his main motivation is to get revenge on his father for fucking up his life. It's pretty obvious that he's using Stain's creed as a means to justify his actions and conceal his actual intentions rather than wholly taking in that philosophy to Heart.

It's ok to disagree/have different opinion from with your idol/someone you admire. I think Dabi's simply agreeing with big chunk of stain's, but not the whole of it... Even spinner who I think is more obsessive of Stain than Dabi was end up preferring Shigaraki more than Stain..

personally: that’s why he’s a fun character because his development is just something abnormal, yet realistic he used to be gentler(not gentle, he still wasn’t the best as a kid, but he was a kid, he acted like one mostly) but now he’s brutal and his reasonings are realistic yet it fascinates me how somebody could change that much (i’m obsessed with psychology, ok?)
