Defense ain't the problem , the problem has been the offense the past 4 years. Offense can't move the ball down field . 3 and out 3 and out 3 and out 3 and out. Keeping the Defense on the field risking injury and they eventually get burned out by the second half allowing the game to get ugly. That's been the problem the past 4 to 5 years. Ain't got nothing to do with venables with or without him. But I believe dabo will fix that.

@@meiosys Also you cannot think Discipline is an issue....discipline doesnt lead teams to winning 5 straight games when they are 4-4 on the season last year. Lack of discipline gets you what FSU has right now. Discipline is what allows Clemson to at least still be competitive in most every game.

@@andrewroof8042 that’s true. They finished with 5 straight and a 4-4 record in the ACC. Problem is, being “competitive” is not the standard Dabo supposedly set. The numbers don’t lie. Dabo without Venables, for whatever reason, is an average coach.

The problem with the program is obvious; Clemson needs to recruit better athletes on the offensive side of the ball. The team had the #52 Scoring Offense in 2023. The defense is fine, but dabo better start making the hard decisions that need to be made while appealing to the kind of offensive talent that he needs to elevate the offensive output

After watching this nothingburger news conference. Hope we beat App State. It sounds like he has no answer. F the transfer portal. Doesnt matter who you get when you got a predictable plat calling offense. How many side line passes did we see? Deep ball anyone? Giving up on Routes? PENALTIES? If they oust Dabo with the snap of a finger it will be laughable. Dabo is a great coach he just needs to make changes in certain areas. He has earned the right to make those changes as he sees fit. If it continues to not work out for him by the full season results this year then yes he should openly make additional changes.
