Nice. I did a lot of research and settled on the exact same one. I am loving it. Pressing rosin like making a pot of coffee. :D 6:35 the legs are actually meant to allow the rosin to drip out onto the silicon mat. Might be fun to put something cold under the mat.

Those are drip tech legs. Not sure about back then, but now the 6 ton comes with 4 driptech legs so it sits evenly on them so you can drip right onto your dab mat.
@jbzieg96773 жыл бұрын
The legs are to creat food grade rosin....turn the parchment paper around and 'dip' the machine and leave it there as you squish. Parchment below and let gravity take the goodness down.

Hey I have a question. I bought a similar unit. I noticed the top plate doesn't get as hot as the bottom. I noticed this with one of those lazer heatgun. Is it normal for them to be two different temps even when they are set to the same temp? Im seeing a pretty big variance. Bottom seems right but the top is off by like 50 degrees fahrenheit. I noticed yours seems to pretty much be spot on. Is there something I can do to fix this?
@theelevatedislander50153 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for the question. It isn't normal for them to be off by more then just a couple degrees. So if you're seeing a difference of 50+ there's an issue. It could be as simple as a calibration issue or bad connection or heating element. I would definitely contact the company to see what they can do for you. Cheers!
@dmathis5103 жыл бұрын
@@theelevatedislander5015 turns out it was just my thermometer. It was hitting the plate and giving me a false reading due to the angle I was aiming at put a fresh battery and rechecked today. Plates are now like you say only a few off. Got my materials ready to start squishing tomorrow. Right now my RH is at 62% on some stuff iv had curing for about 5 months. Trying to get it about 66ish so I sprayed the lid of the jar and should be ready in the morning.

Try using a 160micron or even go as low as 90 micron instead of the 25micron which is reserved for bubble/hash and kief shake... Keep it up dude..
@jerkboy584 жыл бұрын
would you say using a higher micron count would allow for more yield?
@mattske52864 жыл бұрын
XIMADEIT check out NUGSMASHER there ahead of the dab game by far. They say 25mc is reserved for kief/hash or for making THCA. 90-120mc bags are for dryer material and for THE STICKY ICKY use a 120-160 U could go as high as 200mc but iv rarley ever seen that size used...
@mattske52864 жыл бұрын
I'm keen on buying that same press I own a DULYTEK DHP7-v3 7Ton but can swap it out for a 10ton. What's the max pressure on the DAB PRESS ??? 6ton never mind
@TheDrizzykush3 жыл бұрын
Lol, if you want the max yields use those higher micron bags. If you want better quality, but smaller yields use 25-37U. This has been covered by many legendary extract artist, and the results speak for themselves. I for example pressed some blueberry muffins, the difference was about 1%, but the 37 shit on the 90. Both are fine, but higher quality will be less yields, if you're pressing your own don't cheap out. I know these comments are old, but this is for anyone coming across this after. also max pressure is not always better, I go up to about 1400 PSI max, so do many other extract techs. Happy dabbing everyone
@wayniac9175 жыл бұрын
Awesome vid but why so fine of micron bag? Most use a 120 or even a 90 unless they're using kief.
@theelevatedislander50155 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question! You are right most use a larger micron bag. I'm just messing about with different set ups, Cheers!
