Most dogs like there crates, especially with a blanket over top like they have. They come from wolves who slept in caves. They feel safe

Putting your dog in a cage during the night and comparing it with a cozy cave is pretty insane! If you are afraid that your little dog is peeing on the floor in the middle of the night while you are sleeping in your cozy bed, then put a pee pad on the floor which works with my dogs. I would to see how you feel being locked up every evening!!! Poor dog!

Crate (cage) training is used by people too lazy to have a dog. Instead of training them not to poop inside the house they will lock them up. It’s not natural for any animal to be kept in a cage but it’s been widely accepted.

Maybe crate training? Which shouldn’t last for more than 30 days. Most dogs I have had have been crate trained in 2 -3 weeks. Even puppies. If he’s house trained, please don’t make him sleep in a crate. He’s just adorable.

Crate training is good to allow the dog alone time. That way if the owner leaves for some time the dog wont get anxiety
