Because it was still used by several homeless people and the fire was pretty small at the beginning. btw: they did enter the building and tried to attack the fire from the inside.

maybe they did so, but isn't caught on the video. Anyway we usually don make inside and outside attacks at the same time (well depending on the situation), and also the building abandoned with the structure being in a very bad shape, I would send crews in that building because there's a good chance that the floors or walls collapse

Why didn't you attack the fire from inside the building rather than hitting it from the outside?

They tried an inside attack first but thought that it would be obviously too dangerous. Fighting a 2nd/ 3rd alarm fire with 2 ladders is pretty poor in my mind

Um's kurz zu halten, das Feuer hat sich über Stunden hinweg durchgefressen und dann brannte alles.

Das wirklich tragische ist das man die Hütte danach net abgerissen hat. Einige Jahre später stürzte die Bude ein und begrub ne Frau unter sich die gerade den Gehweg benutzte.

Sometimes it's wise to NOT say anything about what you see in a video like this. It's been a long time since this fire in the video took place. Hopefully. Those involved eventually learned how to become firefighters.

Als sie die dachpfannen hoch genommen bzw abgerissen haben war es doch ziemlich leichtsinnig ,weil die rauchgase hätten auch gut durchzünden können.....
