A little about Michael & Evan's relationship:
Yes, Michael tormented C.C in the past.
when they reunited they both wanted to try and have a better sibling relationship, Evan didn't completely forgive him but he wanted to try.
They did get closer, and Evan started to trust him more and more and starting warming up to him.
Somtimes they have their disagreements and arguments but they get over it.
Since William wasn't really like a "parent" in the past, none of the kids really has a parental figure to look up too.
and since Evan trusted and was close to Michael and was comfortable with him, he started calling him dad.
