Dad and Daughter First time reaction to Nemophila - Given Up (Linkin Park Cover)

Mayu speaks very little English. She is getting it, but she doesn't really know a great deal yet. For the songs with English she is coached by Saki (the guitarist with the sparkly black guitar). Saki speaks pretty good English. I don't care though. I'm happy to listen to Japanese bands singing in whatever language they're happiest with so long as they keep making great music.

Their covers are great and get many views. She knows how to do an L now . They have a fantastic Maximum the Hormone cover but I can't wait to see your reaction to their own songs Revive and Dissention . Live versions of Sorai and Oiran are really good and heaps of fun. Fun fact. The song Life is about the drummer coming back from maternity leave after her second child. Singer has also just had a baby and was 6 months pregnant on their American tour.

Yes! more Nemophila. Like I said this is a killer band. they Were amazing when i saw them live too and they have done some great covers. Mayu doe snot speak a lot of English but is getting better. If you know the lyrics you know what she is saying just the accent an pronunciation is a bit off but that is expected. she pours her heart and soul into it and overall is just an amazing singer. I read she learns some of the lyrics through sound and Saki one of the guitar players helps her out till she gets it down. In their own songs they sing in English and Japanese. Great combo actually. they do some killer covers of Iron Maiden too. But their original stuff is kick ass. Cant wait to see you listen to more of them. I think I said in previous video. Try Revive, Dissension, Adabana and Orian Official Live. There are plenty more so whatever you chose I'm sure you will enjoy. Look forward to the next.

Good reaction.They seem to be having a hard time pronouncing the band's name, NEMOPHILA is the name of a flower, which is also their logo. Its flowers can be seen in North America. There is a song that NEMOPHILA covers that I recommend to your daughter. Search for "Minions / Banana Song [Cover by NEMOPHILA]."

Mayu does not speak a lot of english, she just memorizes the phonetics (sounds) of the words :D Saki though, the redhead guitarst, can speak english :) Can I reccomend a cover that Your daughter will surely like? Try their cover of the Minion's song "Banana"! You will be surprised! They did all kind of covers, including Babymetal, a K-Pop group called NIziu, other Japanese metal bands like "Maximum the Hormone" and "X-Japan", Iron Maiden, and several others.

@@andrewvidmar3488 Well, I do like Tool, but they´re hardly my favorite band. Their music is well thought out and interesting, but it lacks emotion for me. Still, I find The GRudge from the album Lateralus (2001) an amazing song. I´m not familiar with Linkin´Park except for their hits.
