If it makes you feel any better, kaka’s pacing and head movements are due to zoochosis caused from being caged up a lot. Zoochosis doesn’t happen overnight, she is not pacing because she’s upset at the moment, she’s spent a LOT of time in a small cage with this family and it’s making her crazy. If you don’t believe me look for videos of caged lab monkeys, they do the exact same thing with the pacing and jerking head movements. I am a neutral party, only stating the facts. It makes no difference to me if the family keeps these two monkeys vs. them being released. If the family gets them back, fine with me, (tho the family IS the cause of the zoochosis). This should prove to you that I am being neutral about the zoochosis.

Dad and the family treated KaKa like a member of their family. IF, when they first brought KaKa home, they knew they would have to give her up to live in the wild, then yes, Dad and the family made it hard for KaKa to adjust to the wild. BUT, if they thought KaKa would always live with their family, then Dad did nothing wrong. They didn’t know they had to prepare her for the wild. I didn’t think this would happen to KaKa or Mit.

Ne budite smiješni,oni su već jednom otjerali Kaku ali pratioci su burno reagovali pa su je morali vratiti.Međuvremenu poštom su u kartonskoj kutiji naručili Mit,dva majmuna su bila previśe,mama je morala u bolnicu da brine o staroj majci,tata sa dvije kćerke i dva majmuna plus drugi poslovi.Dalo se primjetiti da su svi u stresu.Kod zadnjih videa se primjetilo da je Kaka zapostavljena,majmuni su provodili vrijeme u kavezu,samo za vrijeme snimanja su bili van kaveza.

@@xy2966 It depends on the keeper. I don't think the monkeys will receive the same love they received from their human family nor that they would have from their real mothers. The focus will be on breaking the bond the monkeys have with humans. There will be distancing between the keepers and the monkeys so the monkeys can learn survival skills. Little Mit may be adopted by a stumptail female. She won't be coddled by the new mom. Most likely the new mom will be caring but rough with her as the moms in wild primate videos are. I wonder what Mit will learn from this whether when she becomes an adult and a mother herself whether she will be kinder to her offspring than her wild adopted mom was to her. I hope it will end well.

@@JanetManiate Personally, my definition of love for an animal does not include the concept of work, like this is the case in societies where pet keeping doesn't have a long tradition. So, if these monkeys were really loved or if it's the salary top up the video filming pays that nourishes this love... I'm not convinced. However, as you say, caretakers in sanctuaries are and must increasingly be distant or else, rehabilitation into nature will not succeed. And this is right!! The monkeys will learn in a sanctuary how to socialise and integrate and behave in a hierarchy. After that, if it's a proper rehabilitation programme, they are released after a year or so. As Vietnam probably is receiving grants to fund the protection of vulnerable or endangered species, this could be a rehabilitation programme . Surely the confiscation is also a political signal to show international partners that action against the monkey trade is taken.

This is possible because they were breaking the law. They knew that this would eventually happen but did not care because of all the money they were making. I agree that it is sad seeing the monkeys in a cage and distress but that is nothing new for those poor monkeys. They were abused from the time they were ripped away from their natural mother and exploited to entertain people for money. Theo Nghị định 06/2019/NĐ-CP về Quản lý động vật hoang dã thì việc cháu muốn nuôi Khỉ Kaka và Mít phải làm đơn xin cấp phép gửi lên cấp có thẩm quyền để được nhận 2 bé về nuôi bởi nếu ko 2 bạn ấy sẽ buồn, ko quen môi trường hoang dã sẽ bị ốm và chết mất.

În natură, în sălbăticie nu se vor putea apăra, nu se vor putea hrăni ca în familie. De mici au primit îngrijiri de la familia din care au fost luate. Ova familija sa Kakom je imala najvise pregleda na you tube(citaj najveci prihod).Uverena sam da im je necija pakost i ljubomora debelo smestila ovo. Na drugim kanalima sa majmunima ima toliko zlostavljanja pa i seksualnog pa se jos uvek ne oduzimaju majmuni. Kaka nece preziveti van ove familije,odrasla je uz njih,Mit se mozda i prilagodi novoj sredni,jos je mlada. Jadna Kaka😢😢😢

I agree Mit will be fine at her age, but Kaka has a heart & so many emotions, especially love for her humans. They put her in danger a few times which was bad, but maybe it was dad sending them away. Never thought much of him but who knows. I pray Kaka won’t die of a broken heart. She’s very special & that will break my heart.

What is the latest news about Kaka and Mit? I know the family went to visit them and I could see how much they love these two monkeys. Please can the authorities change their rules and make an exception to let Kaka and Mit go home. Everyone loves these two beautiful monkeys who are totally domesticated and will not survive in the wild, even if they are cared for at the sanctuary. It is a very different life to the one they have known since they were babies. I pray for a good outcome. Thinking of you all.
