@HelenDickenson-xl9dl that's up to you but being on blood thinners can risk you having a bleed as it slows down clotting and you could need antibiotics my num works is in a hosptial and has nursed a person with a infection after a tattoo can be very risky your lucky you didn't end up in hospital having antibiotics in a drip in your arm

Happy birthday Ben i am sorry that it is late but I couldn’t see the video until today! I have the one ring and I often disappear for a few minutes a day, it gives me a minutes peace! I was refused a tattoo because I am prescribed Apixaban which is a blood thinner and I am on a high dose, I was told aspirin is ok but anything else is a no go! ❤❤❤

Zoe this might help. What can you do? Talk to your doctor You can consult with your doctor to see if it's safe for you to get a tattoo while taking blood thinners. Stop taking blood thinners If possible, you can try to stop taking blood thinners for a week or more before and after getting a tattoo. Let your tattoo artist know If you do get a tattoo while taking blood thinners, let your artist know so they can take extra precautions.
