Yeah I don't dislike Rhett or GMM, but I only watch this channel and only watch it for the chemistry of Charles and Link. If it were Link by himself, I wouldn't watch this either (also nothing against Link! They just aren't my style without Charles involved)

Oh the beginning of the video touched my heart. My cat passed away this month on 9/11 (the audacity) and its been a very hard month for me. I never lost a pet before, and I've had him 16 years. I definitely understand how helpful the distraction can be.

speaking from experience, you're absolutely spot on. this podcast, as well as ear biscuits of course but specifically Dispatches, has become comfort food when i'm having a rough time. putting you two on makes me feel better, even if i can't articulate exactly why. love you guys. please, keep doing what you're doing. it helps.

Great episode. Charles did a pretty good job with the breakup. It was right to the point and very direct.

I love this, feel like I could go to sleep to it. It's so authentic and wholesome, I don't think I've seen anything like it elsewhere. Shame you don't get more views but keep it up, the ones that are watching week in week out love it.

This podcast and EarBiscuits both deliver something extremely rare on the internet -authenticity. Things like "I put 200 golf balls in my underwear" may have a place but it gets old quick. Real life substance wins every time because it genuinely touches humanity.

7:34 feeling so seen while listening to this podcast with my cat, the love of my life, snoozing on my chest. 😭 i try to ward off that preventative grief by actually being present and reminding myself that’s not happening right now, also focusing what i can control, like making sure she is loved, healthy, safe, and well-fed. still hard to not have that sad thought creep in, though.

I lost my little dog in August. It broke my heart. I considered getting another pet but, decided against it because I am not in good health and it's hard for me to take proper care. Also, at my age, a pet would probably outlive me.

I was kind of in the same boat. My pup (Tank) of 15 years died several years ago. Broke my heart. I still cry today. I was in pretty bad health. I have cardiac issues and COPD and just didn't want another dog. My son approached me asking me to keep his German Shepherd for a few months. Needless to say... A few months has been a few years. I could barely walk when I got Junebug AKA "The Bug". I had drug my left foot while walking for years. After three years of multiple walks a day, I can now lift my foot off the ground when I walk and I'm certain that dog is the only reason I'm alive today.
@robylove91904 ай бұрын
@@joeperkins4309 It's funny that your dog's name is Junebug. There is a sign in a yard a few houses from me that has a picture of a dog and says, "Junebug for President".

I lost 3 old shepherds in the last couple years. The oldest one was a black shepherd and he lived to be around 16 years old. The other 2 were siblings and passed within 48 hours of each other. They were about 14 years old. Now is the time for the cats. I have a cat that is about 15 years old and the next one in just a couple years younger.

I lost my dog almost a year ago she was almost 13. I’m a teacher so I knew I couldn’t go this past summer without so I was able to get another one in April. She’s 3.5 and she’s a monster but she’s great! I’ll get another in a couple of years because I also think that having another one there when an older one dies would make it a bit easier. 🐾💜🐾
