Getting a bill for $780 for just walking into the UPMC clinic was hilarious!! The ending was great!! The way Dad was just wandering and the "Lonely Man" theme from the Incredible Hulk TV series playing was perfect!! Felt like I was watching the Hulk again LOL.

Classic ending! I remember when Pizza Hut had that clock that spun really fast. Specifically the one that was in Wyomissing. Closed when a sink hole opened up next to it. The one on 5th street in reading, pa has “we are open” on the sign. Lol

Pondarosa! Loved it! The first pizza hut location was by my grandfather's house. Fond memories of walking there as a kid. And that long John silver's was a block away. This is by Kennywood on 885. Man I miss those days! Pittsburgh dad is the best. Now that i live in north carolina i make sure to tune into every episode for the nostalgia. My favorite Pizza Hut memory was back in 1988 when I was deployed to the Persian Gulf in the Navy escorting tankers to and from Kuwait. We pulled into Bahrain for a few days and me and some buddies took a taxi into the capital. We were wandering around the city feeling totally out of place when we rounded a corner and there it was, a Pizza Hut. We went in and it was EXACTLY like any Pizza Hut in the states. As a homesick 18 year old kid halfway around the world from home it really did a lot for my moral.

This just popped up on my screen and I was laughing the entire time, good stuff! Sadly though, I can relate. I grew up in Claysburg, PA (Blair County) but now live in Virginia. Went back home for a visit in June and discovered that the old Pizza Hut in nearby Duncansville that I went to with my parents when I was a little kid in the '70s has now turned into a front end loader tractor business. That vintage Pizza Hut had special memories for me because I remember getting quarters from my parents to play the jukebox. Later at some point, mom was killed at home in a domestic violence incident in 1977. It was still open just a few years ago and I had gone in and sat down and ate pizza for the nostalgia. Sad to see it go. Found out that Pizza Hut moved down the road in a little strip mall and it looks to be carryout only.
