I remember watching this for the first time. I had so many people around me who were listening to Uzi, 21, Kodak and Yachty at the time who were trying to put me on early in college, but the only one I gravitated to at the time was Denzel. As time progressed, I saw the vision and their styles/flows became contagious and laid foundation for how hip-hop shaped moving forward. It's amazing to see how much each of them have grown in their own artistic right since 2016: Lil Yachty just dropped a collab album with James Blake this past Friday; Denzel Curry is about to drop an extensive project with over 10 features in two weeks; 21 Savage is in the top 50 most streamed artists in the world; and Lil Uzi Vert has created his own worlds in music and drops/features actively with many different artists. The only one from this group I don't listen to actively is Kodak Black, but that feature/narration on Kendrick's Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers was really dope to listen to. If you showed him this, you got to have your dad react to Lil Dicky, Anderson .Paak and Desiigner's freestyle next. Love the work y'all are doing here!
