For some that want some backstory on how the Ja Rule and 50 Cent beef started; It started after Ja Rule was out and spotted 50 Cent hanging out with a friend that robbed Ja for his chain. 50 claimed that after this incident Ja decided to start having a problem and trying to keep away from him. According to Ja Rule, 50 used this association as a way to start a beef and jumpstart his own career, with it currently being 1999 when Ja Rule was having a jumping career and 50 was in a sense a "nobody" at the time. 50 Cent would drop a diss "Life's On The Line" flipping a Ja Rule song "Murda 4 Life" where 50 clowns Ja and his crew Murda Inc. calling them phonies. Later 50 Cent and Ja Rule were booked to play the same show in Atlanta and they had a run in with each other at a hotel. Story goes that there was a back and forth between the two, Ja had a prop baseball bat that he used on stage and 50 wasn't liking how aggressive Ja was becoming with the bat so 50 took a shot and sucker punched Ja Rule, a scuffle between the two groups started, but they quickly scattered. They then ran into each other again in March 2000 after Ja and his crew rushed into 50's session at The Hit Factory Studio in NY where 50 and others were stabbed by Ja Rule affiliate and rapper Black Child. 50 Cent would later be shot 9 times outside of his grandmothers home for reportedly being a "snitch" after dropping his track "Ghetto Qu'ran" where he name dropped people from his hood calling them fakes. 50 Cent was in recovery while Ja Rule was topping the charts. 50 would start back recording mixtapes, where Eminem got ahold of one of his tapes after 50's lawyer gave one to Em's manager, Paul. Eminem and Dre would sign 50 Cent to Shady/Aftermath and the rest is history.

The shit people were doing at ages 19-25 back then whether they were ball players, musicians, actors etc any entertainers is just monstorous. Ja Rule & 50's beef, is real beef that stems from the streets, not from hiphop... like his 'beef' with Nas, Jay etc. he has no real issues with them, as he said himself it's just competition. But the issue with Ja Rule is something completely different. Irv Gotti also admitted in interviews they were trying to block 50 from breaking out as an artist before he signed to Dre and Em.

First time viewer. Love this! On many men, that line “he got shot like I got shot but h ain’t f*ckin breathin” flrefers to the situation where he got shot 8 times and survived. While he was in the hospital recovering, the person who shot him got killed. He created and performed this song with half his jaw wired shut. If you listen to his early mixtapes you can hear the difference in his voice. Keep up the great work! 👌🏿

This album is top 5 of all time in my book. A lot of people talking about this album but not many of them are talking about those hooks on these records. The hooks make this album stand out even more. You forgot a track off of this album it's track 7 "Heat". Heat is Dr.Dre's best produced record because there's no samples whatsoever just pure beat and that organ sounds really good on large speakers.

Finally a great reaction channel, its been a while. You two are really watchable and i always have respect for older people who are open for new things, i hope i am as open minded when i get older. Love to see your journey. Introducing him to Em will def be fun to watch, cant wait. Mmlp or the eminem show should be it or even relapse would be interesting. The content is a lil bit over the top but the rapping is superb same with his new mtbmb project. Also albums like: like water for chocolate, infamous, southerplayalistic, only built 4 cuban and 2001 would be really dope. Glad to join this journey, love from northern cold Sweden.
