This IS from a mobile game called BTS WORLD and YES, the camera perspective is YOU, the player. In this story line Jimin works at his grandmother's rice cake shop while also being a member of a dance group. His grandma is in danger of losing the shop because of falling sales and her health problems, so Jimin steps up and tries to help her, which takes time away from his dancing. Taehyung (in this alternate universe) is the son of farmers who are the suppliers of the rice flour that the shop uses. Tae is making a delivery here. The game unfortunately has been discontinued, seeing these clips is a treat.💜

That martial art is called Kendo, and it's Japanese in origin. All the guys have short films like this. They were associated with a mobile game, but that was before my time as ARMY so I don't know much about it. Each of them sort of tells the story of an alternate universe where they aren't idols, but pursue other dreams and careers. V is a farmer. RM is a detective, and so forth.

This is from the BTS World mobile game. They all acted. The game has the premise of multiple universes in which the player can play as BTS' manager in one universe AND befriend them in another universe where they never became BTS. Yes, Jimin did Kumdo for around 8 years among other martial arts. He wanted to be like Zoro from One Piece... which is adorable. No, the music in this video is not the original music. This game had the best soundtrack of any mobile game ever. BTS spoiled us.

I was stuck on chapter 6 in the main story where I'm the manager but the solo stories I got through all them except jins I was at the end if jins when I found out they game was no longer gonna be available by the end of the year.. so sad I loved it so much, but I found it too late.😢

I started the game a year after it came out and was lucky enough to finish it not long before they ended it. I played it EVERY DAY until it ended, and I still miss having that little bit of them in my daily life. 😢

The story goes that Jimin's grandma who makes rice cakes got sick and is in the hospital. Jimin has to keep the shop open to help his grandma but what he wants to do is to dance with his dance group, He also has his kendo and you are the person that is never seen you are trying to get him to go into music and be his manager. That is BTS World Game.

It was the BTS World mobile game, it's came out in mid 2019, and was delated in 2023 if I remember well. The mobile game come with shorts films, like this one, for each member in an alternative universe. And with original soundtrack that you can still find today (like Heartbeat for exemple) . Anyway, Jimin is dancing on his solo song "Lie" in the short film.

Jimin does Hapkido (not sure of the spelling) he does ti kwon do, and Judo OR Jujitsu some he did for many years, he knows how to take care of himself, Don't Mess with jIMIN. (Sorry, bit late. Had pretty bad storms the last few days, internet has been wonky...not even close to Florida, but my state is feeling the effects of the hurricanes. Anyway....) As for the Rice Cakes...rice is a staple in pretty much all of South Korean cooking - from sweet to savory. Rise itself, of course, is also included with almost every meal in South Korea, but there is also: Rice flour with sugar, water, various colorings, etc. - you get a cake. This, of course, is what Jimin was helping his grandma with in the video. These are often called "rice cakes" as they're made with rice flour instead of traditional wheat flour. Rice flour with water and other ingredients gives you the base for tteokbokki (a favorite South Korean soup, with many flavor variants, kind of akin to ramen, but the "broth" is usually a little thicker than the liquid portion of ramen). The rice paste makes a form of Korean pasta (rolled out into long "snakes" about as big around as your pinkie, then cut into 1 to 1 1/2" long pieces, though they also have several shape variations, too, like hearts or stars). It's cooked just like common pastas in the U.S. are. These are also called "rice cakes". *Note that in the two instances above, the longer the rice dough is kneaded, the chewier the rice cake becomes. Puffed rice is made with heat (much like popcorn), and various seasonings/toppings are added to create...yep..."rice cakes". @@sabinemuller8124 no she does not. There are no public photos of Jimin’s mom. he has never shared any. Any picture you may have see is falsely claiming that this actress is his mom. The only photo of Jimin’s mom is one where he is side hugging her and her face is covered with an emoji. It’s an older pic from early BTS days. From what we can see she is slender and very young looking with shoulder length long, straight black hair. She looks nothing like this actress.
